      • Works for chiggers

    It took several applications but it took care of the chiggers in our yard. Also saw a reduction in ticks. The wild animals bring them through the woods into our yard. The dogs were bringing them in on their fur. We use a professional pest company for inside and directly outside but not the yard. We also have our dogs on meds. These granules were the only thing that helped for chiggers and ticks in our lawn and around the pole barn. I will honestly say I noticed more baby blue birds that died in their nesting boxes. That could be due to something else, but I noticed when we started treating our yard. We tried to make a barrier and use walk ways but the chiggers bites were too intense.     Had possum and racoons digging in my yard for "grub" - sprayed the lawn with this, killed the grub and kept the critters away by taking away the food source. Lawn looks better now also from grub not eating the roots of the grass. Product works!

    I live in the Southwest and have rocks in my yard (as opposed to grass) and every spring and summer the kissing bugs come out in droves and get on my patio. I presume they live under the rocks as opposed to some insects that burrow in the ground. This insect killer is awesome. It is easy to connect to the hose and I sprayed my patio as well as the rocks. They seem to die instantly as I had to sweep all the dead ones off my porch after the water dried up. Spraying the rocks kills whoever is hiding in there as I haven't seen any new bugs since I sprayed two days ago. The bottle will easily last me four or five (maybe more?) applications to cover my 60x25 foot rock and patio area. Depending on how long it takes for me to see another kissing bug, I'll know how often to treat just the rocks so they don't get a chance to emerge in the first place. Great product! ... show more

    This did a great job on the first day. I found dead ants and bugs around the border of my yard which was an indication it killed the bugs. But the next day we got more flies, mosquitos, and other bugs right back. I wish it lasted as a repellant instead of just a killer.

    I'll start by saying the reason I do not like using this product is because it can be harmful to beneficial insects like bees and lady bugs. I try to limit usage to target grubs and plants that are infested with bugs like aphids when less aggressive treatments don't seem to work. I initially found out about the active ingredient Imidacloprid when researching how to fix issues with grubs ruining the lawn. That's when I learned the plants will absorb imidacloprid and will kill the insects when they eat the plant. Imidacloprid seemed to work great at eradicating grubs from my lawn. I picked up this bottle of liquid concentrate for its low price and to use with both 1 gallon pump type sprayer and also hose end sprayer. My lawn is only around 1,000sf so I dont really need alot of this stuff. I already have a bunch of old hose end sprayer bottles from other lawn care products so I didn't need another spray bottle. To spray the lawn for things like ants I'll just add a few ounces to an old spray bottle, I'll use a bottle that was labeled to have the same coverage rate, which would be 32oz for around 5,000sf. For my 1 gallon pump sprayer I'll mix the labeled rate of 1/2oz per gallon. For grubs in the ground I'll mix up the recommended rate on the professional type products, which would be 15oz of this product per gallon of water which will cover 1,000sf. I'll walk around and spray the lawn using the pump type sprayer and then go back and water it in. I'll do this around the end of June. I'll do this just for grubs, everything else I use the rates listed on the bottle. ... show more
