This product went together in no time, and it's very sturdy. It looks great and our Gracie loved it. I do wish the padded mat was a bit thicker, but a folded up blanket under it solved that dilemma. Safe product to buy.

These crates are amazing. I got two for each of my dogs to go on the end of the couch as end tables and they work perfect. Went with a size medium for our two English bulldogs. They fit them perfectly. They look great and were easy to put together. Only took about 30 minutes each. The quality of them is excellent. For the second one we just reversed the wood and door so it would match more for the end table look we were going for. Highy recommend these! We ordered three and they were SUPER easy to build, and they are nice! The latches are very good and make kenneling the herd easy! They really LOOK like furniture and not junky like plastic or plain wire kennels.

I hate that the wood grain looks like every piece of Walmart furniture from several years ago but it still looks better than a wire crate. It's kind of heavy which is good unless you plan to move it a lot. Pros: sturdy, roomy, looks decent, pad is easy to wash Cons: latches pop easily if one dog is in the crate and another walks by wagging her tail, she'll pop open both doors. Be prepared to weight them or tie them. Pad is very thin despite the description saying it's thick. It's ok. ... show more

Of course this is not made of native wood panels. It is a very strong particle board, but it actually has the heft and look of quality wood. The bars are much stronger than that of a standard wire crate. They also have a powder coat that looks great. I can see some dogs breaking it but if they are ok in a wire crate then this is a big step up. It has 2 easy to open doors and during assembly you can choose which side you want the side door. Assembly was very easy, there is only one bolt size which is great. Once assembled it is heavy and rock solid with no creaking or flexing. I am very impressed with this. We have used this kennel 4 times in a month. We immediately learned the latches will open with our puppy moving around so we put a carribeaner through the hole. Today our 5.5 month old puppy was in the kennel less than an hour and was able to break out the bars on the nondoor side. This kennel is advertised as strong, however it did not take a 35 lb puppy much time to break out. Leaving him injured, bleeding, and destroying things in less than an hour. While this kennel looks nicer and was more expensive, it definitely was not secure and caused our puppy an injury with the weak bars. I would recommend you choose another option. ... show more

While I do not have a dog, my pet loves to spend her time inside the cage. She is not a very big pet, but she is strong, and cannot break out, unlike cheaper wire cages. Sturdy enough to stand on comfortably.
