This Oven works exactly as promised. Easy to assemble, great customer service if something is wrong, works great with pellets I use for my smoker / pellet grill, pretty easy to clean. The grill comes mostly assembled and you can be ready to go including the initial cleaning burn in 45 minutes. I used my Treager pellets and a propane torch to light them. You'll need something substantial to get them going, matches or a stick liter probably won't cut it. Now to the pizza. It takes practice. Like a home espresso machine it takes practice and tome to get it right. Find a good dough recipe and perfect it. Get it thin with practice, then dial in your pizzas. Don't break this out the night company comes over. Practice and get it down with recipe and technique, then you can wow them with this! ... show more

This has been so much fun. We have only had it for a few months and used often. Its easy to start the pellets with a torch, and easy to keep it hot during your cooking time. I have dreamed of having a outdoor oven and kitchen in the back yard. This has helped tied me by until we get it built.

I had spent time researching a patio pizza oven and this one seemed to be very similar to other more expensive brands. So, until I can build the brick oven of my dreams, I decided to practice on this one. It arrived quickly and is much more substantial than I had expected! Here are the pros and cons... PROS Easy to set up Instructions were actually coherent and helpful! Heats interior to 500 degrees in about 15 minutes, stone takes a bit longer to reach 500. I can tell with practice that we will be making epic pizzas in no time. It's heaver and larger than I had expected CONS It's size makes it a bit hard to transport on camping trips... But we found a heavyduty tote that it all fit in perfectly. A handle on top of the oven might be helpful. Read the safety precautions carefully! There will be flames shooting out of the hopper, the chimney and the front of the oven when you open the door. Apparently this is normal. I wish the handle for the firebox was longer and had a rubber end. It gets hot. I also wish the hopper had a safer way to flip it open to add more pellets when flames are coming out of it. It does use pellets very quickly. I think it will take a few tries to get the rhythm of adding more at the right time. Over all... buy it! Also buy yourself a set of LONG handled peels and turners. You will burn your fingers using a short one. Also buy a surface temp gun. It helps to know when the stone is hot enough. ... show more

There are so many options when it comes to pizza ovens so I wasn’t sure what was the best choice and at least for me this was a good one. Not the cheapest and not the most expensive but overall it looks good, works good, and should last as long as you store it covered indoors.

The oven itself looks very nice. It is simply metal with no insulation. But it's 160 dollars. Unless it falls apart, the oven heats up quickly, has a decently thick stone, good design and makes great pizza. I place a little fan, on low, in the back to help keep the fire going or get it started back up if it goes out. Because it does burn through the pellets quickly. So you have keep and eye on it and fill it frequently. Otherwise, it gets hot in about 15 mins and cooks a very good pizza in about 2 mins. ... show more
