This is the second steel hose I've purchased. One for the front yard and this one for the back. They are SO much better than traditional hoses. There are no kinks, they are easy to move around the yard and best of all they aren't heavy making them a breeze to wind up.

I have had to buy a new hose every year I have rose bushes and every year the thrones punctures the hoses. This year I decided to buy this one upon reading the reviews I must admit I was skeptical especially how cheap it was. Well let me tell you it’s the best hose I’ve ever bought in fact I’m ordering another for my back yard it’s very light weight which is great being 60 with arthritis those other hoses tended to be heavy and hard to wind up. It doesn't kink at all and it’s thorn resistant I used it yesterday for the first time and was scared when it went around the rose bush no punctures from the thorns at all!!! The spray nozzle is also very sturdy no leaks and may different selections of sprays to choose from which is great if you garden. I definitely recommend this hose for every and anyone. ... show more

We've tried all sorts of hoses over the years--the residential-rated rubber and vinyl ones (they kink), the expandable ones (they burst) and the commercial ones (heavy, stiff and a pain to roll up). That's why we're delighted with this hose, which has none of the problems just mentioned. It's the most lightweight non-expandable hose we've ever owned, and it's so easy to unroll and roll up. I was worried that the metallic covering would heat up in the relentless Florida sun, but it stays cool. The sprayer nozzle works well, too. Don't know how well this hose will hold up in the long run, but if lasts through the summer without problems, I'm buying another one for the back yard. ... show more
