So many people are complaining that this bed only lasts a year. For the cost, a year is pretty good. I wash mine weekly (I have 2) and it is still in decent condition. I have alsio found that a crib sheet fits perfectly on the "large" size bed. This way I can change the sheet and it looks great all the time. It takes a little wrestling to get the cover on but not as bad as some of the reviews indicate. It doesn't say "water-proof" in the description but it is resistant to stains and such. If you have a dog with incontinence (one of mine had an issue for awhile) you can simply wrap the foam portion in a trash bag and put it back in the cover. The cover is washable. ... show more

My wife was looking for a padded dog bed that was easy to wash. She saw this one on sale and decided to buy it for our old healer. It arrived rolled up along with the cover to put on. My wife had no trouble unrolling the foam bed and putting on the cover which zips up around the bed. One side of the cover is soft and a little fluffy and the other is smooth. The dog likes it, and that's the most important thing about the bed. It looks like the photo in the listing, and the removable cover means that it could be washed should the pooch decide to roll in something fragrant. The "scalloped" material gives a comfortable place for the resting pooch, and it looks good in my office. I did open the package and wonder, "this looks like a piece of foam." I intentionally sized and purchased this to go in the back of my 2025 Subaru Ascent (with the 3rd row down). It fits terrifically, is enough padding to make the car ride more comfortable, and I like that the top is a warmer "wool type" fabric, while the bottom is a sturdy heavy duty fabric. It fits perfectly with about 3 inches between the bed and the door. This is my third one. I foster Rottweilers and have a Border Collie. The dogs I foster are often in poor shape and these beds are used well. They have been peed on, vomited on and more. Pull the cover off and throw it in the wash and it comes out like new! Plus the waterproof inner lining really works! I have this bed and two others that are different Bedsure beds and all look fabulous after 1-2 years of use. Easy to vacuum clean too or use a hand carpet cleaning machine instead of throwing in the wash. No struggling to put covers on either as they go on easily. My old Pit Bull loves it. She Drags it around the house to her sunny spots. I bought a second one for the bedroom (upstairs) to keep her from "sneaking" into my bed. The first one is holding up fine after a year of use with slight wear of the cover.

The black cover is like Sherpa and EVERYTHING sticks to it (hair, lint, etc.) and it doesn’t come off in the wash or dryer. It’s soft but it looks so dirty so quickly and I can’t get it to look clean. The grey ones are a different material and clean well. Overall the beds are good for the price, the bigger the bed the thicker the foam, and they last. I just wish I could buy a new cover on its own rather than replacing the whole bed. ... show more
