    • Not enough pressure output for Land Rovers
Model: LR038114
I bought this compressor for my Land Rover LR3, it has already been converted to the AMK style compressor, this one will lift the car up to ride height but the pressure output is only 1500 kpa, which will still cause a faulty compressor reading. Land Rovers require 1700pka to activate the shut off valve, since this one is putting out 1500 pka, it just runs until it starts to overheat and automatically shuts down giving you the yellow fault code. This compressor is noticeably louder than the AMK version. Again, even though the ad states these will work with LR3 and LR4, they will not, due to working pressure of 1500pka, which in the sellers defense is clearly stated in the specifications. Just buy the AMK original German version and that will solve your problem. It's a shame that they can't get the working pressure to 1700pka as it would be great value even if only lasted 3 to 5 years. ... show more

Intermediate replacement due to having to lift the car and remove some plastic plates and brake line brackets. The part worked when installed. FYI, if you test the unit while the car is lifted on one side, when you drop the car back down it will be tilted. Drive it around the block twice, once turning left and once turning right and the car will self level. ... show more
