  • Great for privacy from pesky neighbors. Bonus: cooler temps in house
Size: 30in X 49ft
This was a game changer for my family. We got this to keep our neighbor from staring into our house. (She's a nutcase) The film works great! IMPORTANT: the film works best during daytime when the light outside is brighter than the inside. At night it acts like a tinted window and you can still see in slightly because of the sheerness - but it does still reduce visibility from. The outside even at night. I will say this, if you're installing it on large doors or windows, get someone to help you. I ended up getting the film stuck together at the bottom when I first tried by myself. My other tip is to start from the top and only remove the backing as you adhere it to the glass surface. It's great to spray the area first really well. Have someone hold up the top corners while you pull down on the back film to expose the adhesive to the surface. After I figured that out, installation was A LOT easier. Also, grabbing another squeegee is a nice idea to have two people getting out the air bubbles. Honestly, this has saved my family from a crazy nutcase behind us staring into our house during the day. So, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Almost forgot, we have also noticed that it keeps our south facing windows significantly cooler. Summer in Chicago can get hot so this came in handy! I'll add photos when it's bright out tomorrow! ... show more

  • Excellent quality
Size: 48in X 50ft
Pretty easy to install. There are tons of tutorials on YouTube. Still holding up great after a year under the Southern California sun.

  • Works pretty good
Size: 30in X 49ft
Keeps most of the sun out and you cant see inside during the day time as described. Not super hard to install once you get the hang of it but it is difficult to get it perfect. If you are super nitpicky and want perfect tint job you should probably just hire a company to do it for you. Make sure you have a good spray bottle because you need to cover the windows in soapy water for it to work properly. Besides that all you really need is a tape measure and something straight to help you cut the pieces out. A vacuum also helps to get all the hair/dust in the area up before you start. ... show more

  • Seperating the backing from the film is the worst part
Size: 30in X 49ft
This product comes with instructions and suggestions but unfortunately in my experience the hardest part of all these films is separating the backing from the film. I've tried every method i've found in articles, instructions, and videos... but the most time consuming thing is always this. Other than that, the film lets less light through than other brands who claim the same level of light block, which for me is kind of a positive. Also, this film also seems to block more heat than other films I've used also. So for the most part i'm satisfied. ... show more

  • Easy installation after a few times but still has challenges
Size: 30in X 49ft
So first window ended up with a little bit of a “wrinkle” on it. What happened was during the process of getting the sheet onto the window it folded in on itself. The larger wrinkle came about when flattening the tint to the window. Was going too quick and at an angle to get the air bubbles out when the pocket collapsed and caused the major wrinkle, the one that is in the first photo at the top right. Got it installed ok after that by slowing down. Before the next windows were done watched some videos of how professionals install it and found that they install it by starting with a middle line from top to bottom and then work to the sides from the center. Any time that they had to peal back the tinting they would spray the tint and window so neither would be dried out for easier bubble removal. Other mistakes I encountered was when removing the backing film I wasn’t applying the spray to the tint, yes I know they say too, ended up paying for it as I got to the end the material once again folded in on itself and the adhesive suck to itself. I also tried a few different methods for the soapy solution. To be honest, don’t like the soap. I used soap for the first and second windows. For the larger door windows I used dish soap. For all of the ones I used soap for they ended up with “soap runs” on under the film. The runs can’t be seen from a distance but when you get close they are there. Best method I found was using windshield wash. I had a gallon of it from NAPA, used it for the whole process and the windows look great. ... show more

  • don't like the adhesive
Size: 30in X 24ft
This is the second variety of window film that I've used, and I won't buy another one that is 'adhesive.' This adhesive window film is more difficult to install and next to impossible to squeegee any bubbles to the edges to remove them because the film literally 'sticks' to the window. I can only imagine the mess I'll have if I try to remove this film as all the adhesive will have to be scraped off with a razor blade. The first variety of window film I used was a static cling film. It went on easily and, with plenty of soapy water pre-applied to both window and film, the film can be slid around slight to get it properly aligned and mostly bubble free. Any remaining bubbles are easily squeegeed to the edges because the squeegee moves water into the space where the bubble was to make the film 'cling' to the window. Normally these films are put on top-to-bottom and gravity assists the application. When doing the top window of double-hungs, I found that with the adhesive film, I had to do bottom-up to put the film behind the window locking mechanism first since the adhesive makes it impossible to slide the film down behind the mechanism. (This is what I was able to do with the static cling variety.) I needed an assistant to hold the film while I adjusted the bottom and then it was next to impossible to properly align the rest of the film without it wrinking. Even installing the adhesive film top-down can be difficult because it tends to stick readily to the window in awkward positions, no matter how much soapy water has been pre-applied. And as already stated above, it's very difficult to remove bubbles. Good luck! ... show more

  • Great product. Went on easy. Larger windows need two people for proper results
Size: 30in X 100ft
This product was awesome. I got it on discount because I got the amazon Wearhouse return version of it. I'm not sure why someone returned it but it went on easy and keeps the room much cooler. Take your time and it will look like a pro did it....Know this you will mess up your first one.
