March 2022: Very sturdy and easy to assemble---sort of. First of all, ***BE CAREFUL*** when unboxing this item. The "leather" top of the bench was right up against the seam of the box. I suspected this and was very careful when I used a box cutter to open the shipping box. It would have been very easy to slice through the "leather". A thin piece of cardboard placed on top of the bench for shipping by the manufacturer would sure be smart. My only complaint is that the mounting holes to attach the legs to the bench did not match up on my bench. It isn't going to be easy to drill new mounting holes because they're supposed to have a threaded receiving hole for the mounting screws. Otherwise very nice bench. UPDATE: April 2022- I ordered another bench, and the "leather" is different. Very annoying!! There weren't any color options when I placed my order, other than "Brown", but you can see in my photos that the two benches I ordered do not match. Very disappointed. ... show more

I ordered this bench for my business, the first one came damaged (per delivery as box was punctured along with bench) I sent an email with pics, a new bench was sent to my business. I kept the first one to save the headache of return and donated it to a local shelter, I received a percentage of the purchase cost off the damaged bench. The legs did not line up with the pre-drilled holes. Spent a lot of time trying to put the legs on before having to call a carpenter friend to finish it for me. It’s wrapped in so much plastic, and the plastic is stuck under the cushions that aren’t removable. I’ve been picking off plastic for days. Overall I’m happy with the look and quality, it was just the assembly and excessive plastic that made me give it less stars. ... show more
