Like sleeping on cool air. We have a Split Ca. King adjustable bed. What that really means is we have 2 extra long twin beds pushed together. The mattresses have that foam type padding everyone seems to love, the stuff that conforms to your body. We are old and it is difficult for us to get out of those sunk in body hugging places just turn over let alone get out of bed. So we needed a topper that was soft but would combat this foam. When I opened the box on this topper I was skeptical but we put them on anyway and are we glad we did! This topper is the most comfortable, soft and cooling without sinking topper I've ever seen or experienced. We've had them about 7 mo. or so and they are still like new. It looks delicate but I am 5'2"and 200lbs. When we got them and my hubby was 6'3" and 210 lbs. then. We have now lost a bit of weight but be are still at 180 lbs. ea.. and they are holding up fine. This topper is SO fluffy and comfy. 10 times softer than my old one. The fit is just bit small so the edges of the topper and mattress don’t quite line up exactly. It fits well enough though. A word of caution - If you follow the directions to fluff it in the dryer when you first get it, use no heat if possible. Instructions say to put in it for a couple minutes on low. I put it in for 3ish minutes and when I took it out it smelled like it was burning. The smell lingered for a bit but I can’t smell it at all now that it’s on my bed. Even better to do the other method and let it fluff on its own for 24-48 hours. Great quality for the price though!! ... show more

    • Mattress topper was delayed in transit but looks great.

There was a transit issue so the topper was late getting here, the 2nd may be lost (but we are hopeful it will still arrive). As time wasn't an issue we are comfortable with them being late. We have just laid this topper out to fluff up fully because they compress pack it & it has already starting to fill out nicely (they say it can be put in the dryer for quicker decompression) & love the downy feeling when we touch it. Hopeful we can sleep on it tonight & will update this review afterward. So far we are impressed with the topper, this is a queen size and the elastic is all way around so it should not slip off the deep pocket mattress, there is a faint new smell to it which isn't bothersome & expected to fade away; When comparing the actual topper with the display pictures they match perfecty. We haven't noticed a noise when pressing on it; we believe this is a very good investment for us. NOTE: we are very happy with this topper! The only area that I am not thrilled with is the pillows are so large & fluffy that when I put the bedspread over it, my matress looks lumpy; but I put a comforter between the sheets and bedspread and it cured that issue for me. The smell did disappear before we went to bed that evening. Really glad I bought this topper. Also the person who was unhappy because the words "bamboo" showed through their sheets, I didn't see that at all on mine, perhaps I have a higher thread count. I have been doing so much research in looking to elevate my bed. This feels like sleeping on a cloud but does have support. When I tell you I gasped right when I laid on it, I’m not kidding! My husband has a bad back and he couldn’t love it more! So happy this one worked for us! It’s a great value and with any mattress you have, you could buy the cheapest one and put this on and it feels like The most luxurious bed in the fanciest hotel. Absolutely LOVE this mattress pad. It is the fullest, softest, dreamiest mattress topper we have ever purchased. It does sleep a bit warmer than previous mattress pads but that works well for our old drafty house. If you're on the fence, don't hesitate. You will love this mattress pad.

At first glance, this is wonderful! It comes vacuum sealed, so those complaining about its lack of density, just toss it in the dryer for 5 minutes then lay it out on the bed (same as you're told with the bamboo and foam particle pillows). It fluffs up perfectly and is SO comfy. Immediately took away the shoulder and hip pain from an extra firm mattress the first night, without losing the firmness of the bed I need for my back. It didn't have any of the weird packaging smells I expected, but that could be from tossing it in the dryer. Now for the Downside: The description says washable. DO NOT WASH IT. Get a mattress protector to go on top of it! I made sure to not stuff it in my home washer because of it's size. I went to a cleaner and washed it in the extra large professional machine and same with dryer. Cal-King size wouldn't have fit in my washer anyway. As soon as it was dry, I brought it home and all the stuffing bunches up. Each "pod" is now a clumpy mess, and the edging is empty every six inches. Absolute waste of $120. So, if you put a protector over this, You will love it. It's insanely comfortable BEFORE you wash it. Just make sure to fluff it up out of the box. But, for the love of bamboo, Do Not Wash It! You will have a clumpy mess to put back on your bed. The description of washable is false! ... show more
