I recently purchased a new mattress (from Amazon) and it’s super firm and you can feel all the grooves on it when you are lying on it. I wanted something to make it more cushy so I came back to Amazon and saw the high praise of this mattress pad. I was impressed when I opened it because it felt thick and promising. It fits my 14 inch mattress well and the quality is nice. The one thing I don’t like is you can see the print of the word BAMBOO over and over through my sheets and it’s kinda hoaky. I tested it out and noticed somewhat of a difference. I no longer feel the grooves in my mattress pattern. I had my son test it out and he didn’t notice anything. I’ll check back in after a night of sleep on it. Edited- it has in fact been an asset and I’ve added a star! ... show more

Could a mattress pad actually make my mattress feel more comfortable? I had my doubts, but I’m a believer now! This mattress pad keeps the heat from building up. For the price, I can't complain too much. Its soft to the touch, and definitely keeps me from overheating at night, but it could be thicker. If it were thicker, I'd give it 5 stars.

"REALLY SOFT!". For the low price I expected a simple pad, thin and hopefully soft. Not real thick, but thick enough and the outside is really soft to the touch, a nice quality. I use it in an easy chair (it is a twin size) and really like it.

Excellent value for the price. I washed it before using and the filling stayed in place perfectly. It has a silky feel and is thicker than I expected. I covered it with a cotton fitted sheet, which does not feel as nice. I want to get a"bamboo" fitted sheet or just sleep directly on this one. So far this Bamboo mattress pad is great. Very comfortable. Has enough padding and doesn’t bunch up after sleeping on it. It’s cooling and I have a tendency to sleep hot. The only negative thing I can say, is the elastic netting doesn’t go all the way under the mattress. Which is too bad. Otherwise, happy with this nice comfy mattress pad.
