I have bone damage due to multiple myeloma cancer that does not allow me to go to a regular massage therapist. My partner does not have strong hands for massage, either. But the damage to my back makes me long for a massage. This product has become my answer! I use it as I sit watching TV in my lounge chair before bed. Unfortunately, the unit has a 15 minute timer and then shuts off to avoid overheating. I've been using it for 15 min on lower back, then rest for 15 min to cool down, 15 min on mid-back, then rest for 15 min, and finally a wonderful neck and shoulder massage for the final 15 min. It would be nice if the duration was 30 min instead of 15 min. But I'm so happy that I am ok with the 15 min time limit. The only thing I would add to this unit is some kind of strap or handle to make it easy to reposition behind me. The unit is a bit heavy to reposition. But I'm learning and making it work. I've never tried a mechanical shiatsu massager before. Human hands are always the best. But this delivers a surprisingly good massage and it has different settings for pressure. Heat feature is wonderful. When sitting up straight the massager is a little rough but if you slouch a little it is great!!!

This massager is very powerful, power is adjustable. I have lower back pain for at least half year now and using this product the pain is almost gone (2x daily, 15 min.) I am so thankful! I just wish the heating power would be higher, not really feel it. But it is a must to have.

The massager was good, it was nice and strong, and the attached remote was very helpful. Unfortunately, it has stopped working after 6 months. I m have bought two of these now and they both lasted almost exactly 6 months and then completely died.

I've used a similar one a friend had and I could sit in a chair in a normal position and turn it on and it worked pretty well.This one was horribly painful and in No way could you put it on your chair and lean against in a normal way. The needing mechanism was too far forward with absolutely no type of padding,but a mesh like fishnet stocking over them and due to this you need to be careful to not let your hair or any string like a pull string from a hoodie or hair clip or even a necklace if using on upper back or it will grab it and twist due to the mesh in front of the kneeders being actually open with NO barrier at all. And as for the "heated" it is N/A if its too painful to use than I wouldn't have felt the heat. ... show more

Had for a while, only used 10-15 times. It just stopped working! Lights on but nobody's home. Extremely disappointed.
