The Start of 4Monster Aug. 2015 It all started on a camping trip to Yellowstone National Park. While four senior outdoor enthusiasts get together，the conversation took an unexpected turn to the subject of outdoor gears. Our designer friend brought an awesome travel backpack. We agreed that it was very beautiful and functional, but cost a lot. A question came to our minds: Why don't we make some practical, stylish and lightweight outdoor gear? After camping, our trip leads us to Big Sky City in Montana. Lying under the starry sky, we decided to build a functional and stylish outdoor brand. Sep. 2016 We started with quick-drying towels and backpacks. In this year, we did various design draft and material testings. After many twist and turns, we finally resolve the basic prototypes of our original towels and backpacks. We received a lot of valuable messages from many outdoor enthusiasts which we would like to thank to. A buddy of mine introduced me to these types of towels while we were boating on the lake, I was like, how well do those work? He was like, try this spare one of the day. Wow! Way better than i expected. I had always seen these and touched them at the stores and wondered how well they actually worked. They work great. Also, the older they seem to get, the more used they get, they seem to work better. This one here is a great size for my 6'3" size. I did order some other brands and sizes the same day as I order this one, all of them are great. Now the ladies of the house do not appreciate them as much as the men. Something about "there isn't enough to keep you warm, yada yada yada ..." and my response has been... "good luck carrying around that large, wet, terry cotton cloth towels with you for the rest of the day..." while mine is drying in the sun in less than 10 minutes. By the end of the day, the ladies do end up using these because they are the only dry towels left in the boat. So don't expect your whole family and friends to be into these right away, it will take them time to learn the new ways. LOL! I think they are the best thing since sliced bread. No complaints. ... and yes .... the old cotton towels are still around, collecting dust and being used for other purposes. ... show more

We bought two of these for a recent camping trip, they were great! The first two days of our trip were wet. We used these to wipe down the picnic table before meals and at the end of the trip we used them to wipe down the bottom of our tent before packing it away. I will say, they did not fully dry a day after use, but it was also pretty humid and still sprinkling off and on when I checked the next morning, so this is understandable. They did fully dry within a day after the weather cleared! We were very glad to have these on our trip. We did not use them to dry ourselves, but I imagine they would dry pretty quickly if that was their primary use! Would buy again! ... show more

First off, I don't understand the low rating of this towel because people expected 4 towels. 4Monster is the brand name *shakes my head*. If people could read descriptions and get past that, the towel works well if you're looking for an outdoor or sports towel. Me personally, I wanted a towel that could be stored away in a gym bag and dry quickly when I have other places to be after that would prolong being able to keep the towel from being wet all day or become funky hanging in the car. It feels like a thicker cleaning cloth they give you with glasses. It's different from your average bath towel but still comfortable and soft enough on your skin. I was really surprised at how well it absorbed the water and how the towel really didn't feel that wet if at all after drying. I got tired of bringing my personal bathroom towels to the gym after jiu-jitsu and find this towel a great replacement. I would note, however, to try best, pat yourself dry rather than wipe. It's not only easier but wiping can leave alot of fuzziness from the friction of that type of material on your skin. Again, wiping doesn't feel uncomfortable on the skin, just a personal observation for better drying results and less fuzz. Would recomend for anyone needing a gym towel, beach towel, or camping towel. In fact, my mother liked mine so much, she bought a whole set for my brother and his young family to go camping for Christmas. ... show more
