This Shoulder and Neck Massager is portable, charges rapidly, and has a long battery life. The massager charges completely in a couple of hours (out of the box). The shoulder and neck were massaged using the massager. A other massager that has been here for a few years performs a fine job, but it never truly gets into the muscles at the top of the shoulders or the base of the neck (and it crawls out of position when switching orientations due to the weight). The most tense muscles were massaged, but not constantly. This Shoulder and Neck Massager is lightweight, and the heads dig into the top of the shoulders without moving away from the region being massaged. The design is likely to specifically target the shoulder and neck regions, addressing tension, stiffness, and discomfort in these areas. Deep Tissue Massage: Deep tissue massage involves applying firm pressure to reach deeper layers of muscles and connective tissues.     • Short battery life
The neck and shoulder massager works well when the battery is charged, however, the battery only stays charged about 20 minutes. You can plug it in to recharge it but you are not able to use it while it is charging. Also, the cord is only about 40 inches long. I like that it has the arm holes to help hold it in place. However, they are much shorter than in the picture. I even have a very short torso and my hands are about four or 5 inches higher than my belly button when I put them in the arm holes. Due to the short arm flaps, the controls are right by my ear so I can’t see them while I am using it. I don’t know if mine is broken but the button that is supposed to change speeds doesn’t really seem to do anything. Either that or it’s a very subtle. ... show more

    • Charges Fairly Quickly & Good Battery Life, Lightweight, Good Size For Thorough Massage!
This Shoulder and Neck Massager is lightweight, charges pretty quickly and has a good battery life. The massager fully charges in a couple of hours (out of the box). The massager was used on shoulders and neck. A different massager that lives here and has been used for a couple of years does a good job but has never really dug into the muscles at the top of the shoulders or base of the neck (and because of the weight when switching directions it crawls out of place). The most knotted up muscles were massaged, but not continuously. This Shoulder and Neck Massager is lightweight, and the heads dig into the top of the shoulders very well without working themselves off of the area being massaged. A very sore spot at the base of the neck that the former vibrator hit but did not stay on was massaged repeatedly for the first time. In order to keep muscles from freezing up where discs are injured, muscle movement in that area is vital. This lightweight massager has the ability to keep the lightweight heads in place. When the heads spin, even though they reverse, the weight of them doesn't cause the massager to crawl off of the area being massaged. The battery held up very well and still had a charge after fifteen minutes of use. The massager does not work while charging. This morning the muscles that were massaged have less tension and the neck more motion. I am very happy to recommend this massager. Keep in mind that this massager has to be charged and does not work when plugged in. ... show more

    • Great shiatsu massager
I have two different shoulder massagers like this. I love shiatsu massages similar to nail salon chairs. This is a similar style of massage, except of course it's limited to one area at a time. That being said, you can definitely use it on all other areas of your body. I do think it shuts off after a while. I decided to turn it on after it shut off and it kept going. So I think there is a time limit on the massage you can have. I don't find that a bad feature because it will help it save battery. I do wonder if other reviewers actually had issues with the machine or if it just needed to be turned on again. I personally find this really effective. I think it was under $40, but I can't see the price right now. I think under that amount is a good deal. My only con is that it can be a bit loud and the massagers do rub together sometimes. I didn't find the heat feature to work on mine. The light turns on as if it should work, but I don't feel much heat if any. That could be a defect with mine.
