I have tried 8 different brands and only 2 have been successful. This is huge! I have 4 Maine Coons, a Siberian and a Bengal. Plus 3 more 15 lb torties. My big boys are 25lbs and fit with ease. I have an elderly girl that can't climb and she walked right in while assembling it. Huge opening makes it inviting and I do find 2 in at once often. Everything is recorded and the display shows the pet weight while in it. Great for monitoring. Cleans all waste without sticking, came with accessories that I haven't had to use because it's efficient. My other unit is the xl ELS and these both have a sterilization system making it absolutely odor free. For those cats that fling litter everywhere, it's a thing of the past for cleaning up now. I had 11 litter boxes for 9 cats. I now have two!!! Cleaning the bag every 2 weeks!!! The unit is silent and very safe. I have found the perfect units for very large cats pushing 30lbs, low entry, sterilization mode, no mess outside the box, no odor at all, very large opening, visual weight on display, no litter waste from 20lbs a month to 20lbs every 2.5 months, cat entertainment to watch it clean, nice accessories with hanging hooks included, easy app to use and monitor, you are alerted to empty tray, alerted for low litter and because I'm disabled and use a wheelchair, I can clean this easily. The media could not be loaded. I received the product and started using it. I noticed urine on the outside of the dump port. I thought perhaps I had not shut the door properly and made sure it was closed. This was not the issue. I then noticed when I cleaned it that there was an odd amount of litter under the bin. Again I thought it was my error. I double checked my work. I discovered cracks in the barrel that left a pool of urine under the barrel along with the stream on the side from the dump port. I also discovered the litter coming from an unknown area somehow getting under the barrel even though everything was lined up. I'm very clean, I check on the system each day. I contacted Amazon. I had bought the warranty. I was told the warranty was not going to cover it yet as the item was too new. Okay. I was told to call Amazon. I did. I was then told the seller wanted the item returned. I cleaned it the best I could and transported it 20 minutes and paid almost $40 to ship it back to the seller. Depending on how the seller handles it from here will determine the review I leave for them. So far I'm not impressed. ... show more

I returned it and Amazon received it on Feb 22 2024 and I have yet to get my refund. I called yesterday and they told me they manually refunded me but I would have to wait another 5 days. I have had many auto boxes over the years and the cheap ones only last a few years with multiple cats. The first thing I noticed is it's really big inside. I have several cats, and have several liter boxes. This one quickly became the house favorite. I use walnut shell clumping liter. I've had no problems with anything sticking to the inside and it has an atomizer built in so there's almost no smell! The waste drawer is also big, you can go a few days with several cats or even a week with only one before you need to empty it. I have cats of all ages, and all of them use this box !
