This small water spray nozzle fits comfortably in my hand. I bought this nozzle to water my garden. I attached it to a drinking safe hose to replace an existing water nozzle I am going to use for the other side of the yard. What I am using this nozzle for is the mist and gentle spray mode. It's jet spray is almost the same as hose spray. I do not like the fact that the jet spray is not a good strong spray. Since I bought it for the mist and gentle spray, great by the way, I am keeping. This nozzle leaks where it connects to the hose. This nozzle has a good thick rubber ring inside, so I have no idea why it leaks. My other cheap nozzle on the same hose did not leak. Simple fix. I just used Oatey FAStape on the hose and reconnected the sprayer. No more leaks. I have attached pictures of the tiny spray stream at the hose connection. This spray nozzle is plastic with some metal parts, it has a great thick rubber O-Ring inside, and the performance is good. The other spray options are great, just not the jet spray for cleaning. ... show more

I recently got the AUTOMAN Garden Hose Nozzle, and I thought I'd share my thoughts on it with you. First off, I have to say that this nozzle is really versatile. It offers seven different water patterns, so you can easily switch between mist, shower, flat, cone, center, jet, or soak settings. This makes it great for all kinds of tasks, whether you're watering your plants, cleaning your car, or even showering your pets. It's nice to have a nozzle that can adapt to different needs. The construction of this nozzle is also impressive. It's made of ABS plastic, which gives it a sturdy and durable feel. I appreciate that it can withstand regular use without fading or rusting. Plus, the slip-resistant design is a nice touch. It gives me a good grip, even when my hands are wet, making it easier to control the water flow. Now, let's talk about a couple of downsides. One issue I noticed is that the nozzle can sometimes leak. It's not a major problem, and you can fix it by checking the connections, but it can be a bit bothersome and lead to water wastage. I got tired of nozzles that watered everything BUT what I wanted watered. Too often I got a face full of spray, shoes full of water, and wasted time by simply trying to water my outside house plants. So I tried this one. What a difference! It put water where I wanted it and with the right amount of force to water without shredding the plants and blowing the soil out of the pot. It fits easy in my female hand; it’s lightweight but sturdy; it’s easy and comfortable to squeeze and hold during those long watering sessions; the water pattern selector is easy to change on the fly; and it doesn’t dribble from the head or connector. Bonus: the mist pattern creates rainbows if you spray it into the air in a ray of sun. I don’t think they charge extra for that. My shoes are dry. My plants are wet. It does its job. Update: A year later. The first time I used it this year, the spray part literally blew off, shooting about eight feet in front of me and completely drenching me in water. Upon inspection, the top separated from a seam in the plastic just above the connection piece. I suspect freezing weather caused a failure. I did leave the nozzle outside all winter but had it completely empty and dry and even left it open. So, my unscientific review is that it will probably hold up for more than one year if you remove it and winter it over in a warm, cozy place. ... show more
