We originally got the grandparents one so they could see their grandkids. The app makes it easy to let pretty much anyone add photos to the frame, and you can easily post to multiple frames at the same time. The sensors work well to turn off the screen when no one is around or at night, and it looks good too. Downsides are it doesn't link to many photo services other than Google, but there is a web page for loading photos from a PC. It cannot be wall hung. The cord is proprietary so if it's not long enough you have to use extension cords vs if it were a generic USB-C cable, and the app is slow to load. In the end though I've liked them so much we have our own now and have gotten them for other family too. I never leave reviews but this is such a great product that I had to share our experience. My mom is in assisted living and my siblings live in other states. Any of us can load new photos via an app on our phones and show them to my mom on her frame. It is such a treat for my mom (who has dementia) to see new pictures of her grandchildren pop up without having to wait for a physical photo to arrive in the mail. The app also shows which photo is currently being displayed on the frame so if my mom isn’t quite sure who is in the picture we can look on the app and help her remember who they are. The setup was intuitive and the frame was functional in minutes. So easy to use and picture quality is amazing. I bought for my mom who lives in an elderly care home in Kentucky. She loves the pictures we post. I live in China and can post and control the pictures we post. I also have my three sisters connected to the device and they can all load pictures. When we FaceTime call I can set pictures as “Display Now” and show my mom pictures of what is going on with our family and her grand children. I gave Aura picture frame as a gift to my mom who is in her late 60s - she found it easy to use and loves it. Ease of use has been key. Plus, I was able to set it up before I gave it so when she turned it on it was already seeded with some cool photos.
