The manual is a little lack luster but once I figured out what they meant it was easy to complete in under 10 minutes. I like the weight and it appears to be durable enough to use my 33w laster and not have issues for a long time. I actually appreciated the paper they put in the box, at first I was confused but when you realize it is to protect the surface the work table is on, it made more sense. This does have holes on the bottom and I can see where smoke could make its way to the surface the working table sits on. I like that it is precision made (Tight tolerances) for the pieces making them a bit tough to assemble but once it is together it feels very sturdy and true enough to be considered square. So far I really like my purchase. 130.00 is a bit much and thats why I didnt give it 5 stars. The instructions were a bit tough to undrstand at first, even with pictures but not bad for a manual written by someone who english, is not the primary language. ... show more

Wow, adding a camera to my laser using a program called lightburn is awesome. This camera makes it so you can update image and watch the print live while in lightburn. Once calibrated, using it to move your images on your live view workspace is a time saver and material saver. Just calibrate it correctly and use the metal measuring stick for your height above your work material. ... show more

Yeah...didn't think I needed it...until I bought it. Now I'll never live without one again. Like everyone with a small laser, height adjustment can be a real PITA just using the knob to set the 'exact' space each and every time. My backing plate had grooves from all the times it'd been set, and moved, and set, and moved... This, once and done. Moving the entire head is nearly a thing of the past, with any medium height changes just a twist of the thumb away. Bigger than that, you're really making a huge change and moving it entirely. But the ability to make that ~mm change, yeah, this rules! ... show more

UPDATE: I have run 184 Km of cut thru burns with an 80 W laser on these two beds and the coating is still in great shape. Changing two 4.5 stars I got two these to accommodate a 400x800 laser. The frames are very sturdy and most importantly, very level. They connect together well. Whatever they are coated with can withstand an 80 watt laser. Now, A couple of bad points: -Assembly requires 4 hands and miracle. The say it can easily be disassembled for storage. Nope, not doing it. -This is the worst point. When you connect two of these together, there is a GAP between the two and I burned the waste board in multiple locations. Closed the gap with a metal strip. -The provided two pieces of paper to prevent smoke from venting out the bottom. Kind of a joke. For the $$$ of there things, a thin aluminum sheet(not foil) would be more suitable. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I had to result to using zip ties and fixed it to my Atomstack A24 Pro. The hole for the clam is too close to the metal brace, and when you tighten down the clamp it pushes itself off of the laser. Without a fix it is 100% useless.

I can say that I was not sure about a camera alignment system, but it works pretty well. The image quality is set for the machine software to use so, it is not really super high quality images and there is no sound. The only downside is that the clamping device, when mounted to the laser frame, interrupts the use of the laser. I just mounted it to the work table and no more problem. When not in use by the machine, it is installed as a "looking down " camera for other projects. I like this set up and will use it for many other things in my crafting and hobby work. I would recommend this for anyone that needs a USB self contained camera and mount system for whatever. ... show more

I didn't know how useful this would be until I had it. Trying to line up items to cut without this was challenging and sometimes very error prone (I had quite a few cuts that were just off enough that they wasted the wood which is so frustrating). Once I had the camera installed it has been a life (and material) saver. The instructions were a bit challenging but there are a ton of you tube videos on how to set this up which are very helpful. Calibration is also a bit tedious but very important. Having a way to know exactly where my material is inside my laser bed is so great. No more cutting outside the material boundaries, no more wasted cuts. I only wish there was a way to mount this that fit better into a "normal" sized enclosure. ... show more

I was cheap and purchased a roller model and then super frustrated that I had trouble with coffee cups and pretty much everything that wasn't a perfect cylinder - including stemless wine glasses. This hooked up to my laser engraver easily and I had no problem sending my work from Lightburn through. It's heavyweight so I'm not worried about doing larger pieces and having it fall over.
