    • Good Beginner Laser
The X20 Pro from Atomstack is a nice laser. This would be a 5 star machine but I am having some performance problems with the laser module. First, however, this is a easy machine to assemble and is of a nice quality. The frame is not as heavy as the Ikier counterpart (part of Atomstack) but it is not nearly as expensive. The lower rating of only 3 stars for now is because of the above mentioned problems. The cut and engrave tests in Lightburn (software) have been used but the laser is not performing anywhere close to the ones that others have used on YouTube videos. I have not been able to cut through 3 mil basswood except on 90% and 100% power at a very slow speed of 100mm/minute. This is not acceptable for a 20W laser. I have contacted Atomstack and they have responded quickly. It will be interesting to see what their fix will be. A new laser module or control board may be recommended or they may want to send another machine and return this one. Either way is acceptable. After communicating with factory service I was given some updated settings for Lightburn and that has made a big difference in the speed and quality of my cuts. I would suggest that Atomstack have all of the recommended settings for LaserGRBL and Lightburn for each model included with their manuals. But some of the blame for the poor performance initially belongs with this user! For the price ( when there is a promotion) of about $680 this is a really solid machine for a beginner. ... show more

    • Don't waste your money
It isn't worth what I paid for, I am disappointed because is not the cheapest in the market and fails a lot -Fails moving side to a side position and ruining my jobs -Fault when I try to home the position
