Description

This 360 /380 Aftermarket replacement bag comes with the exactly the same size of pocket, velcro opening, stitching line, and snap-in plastic clip as Polaris 360/380 bag part number 9-100-1014 or 9-100-1021. Important Note Look at your existing bag. If it attaches to the column with a plastic clip with oval prongs, it is a 280 or 480. If it attachesa 360 or 380.

These bags are a good replacement for the original bag that came with my Polaris. I like that they use a zipper closure instead of the Velcro used on the original. I always had difficulty cleaning the Velcro and couldn't seem to get off the dirt and grime that would get caught in it. The zipper eliminates that problem and is much easier to clean. I have experienced some problems with it popping off the Polaris because it doesn't snap down tightly like the original. However, that is a minor issue that has only happened a couple of times so far. It's also nice having two bags, so I can quickly change them out when I'm in a hurry and don't have time to thoroughly clean the bag out. ... show more

We run our 360 almost 24/7. These bags have lasted as long if not longer than OEM bags. Point of failure seems to be the velcro section that attaches to hose. I'll buy more when I need them.

I have purchased several other brands of these in the past. The first off-brand I purchased held up good but I was not able to get them off of the Polaris myself. I always had to either clean the bag with my hand or wait for my son to come take it off when it need a good clean. The next one I ordered was the Polaris bag which I could remove but was pricey. I decide to give these a try as there were two for less than the price of the Polaris bag. I am so glad I purchased this as I can remove it very quickly and it is so easy to clean. I went ahead and gave it 5 stars for durability as I have not had it long enough to determine that and I pretty much leave in year round and since I have 2 I figures I would at least get two years out of these bags. Was very psyched to find replacement filters for my really old Polaris 360 pool cleaner. After reading a few reviews, I gave it a go. Was not disappointed. These fit well, I was able to put them to use right away. Let's be frank, the original connection mechanism is really not that good, the two tabs really are prone to breakage if one is not careful. The tabs on my second replacement filters finally went, so that's why I got these. The replacement filters are similar if not superior in quality to my non-OEM filters, add to that the zippered opening is really a great idea. I was happy to pay a little extra for that feature. I've been through 6 of these. They fit fine and, the mesh bag is durable enough. But as other reviewers have cautioned, the velcro tabs that secure the bag to the hose deteriorate pretty quickly, which renders them pretty unusable. The bag enclosure velcro also deteriorates but remains usable. That's in a part of the country with a 5 month pool season. Overall, not as durable or long-lasting as the Polaris brand ones, but much less money. Figure it costs less than half as much, but expect it lasts less than half as long if you have a 5 month season. That may be acceptable as it is for me. After two seasons their tabs are shot. If you're in a part of the country with a longer or year-round pool season (FL, AZ, CA), you'd be better to buy the name brand. Like many people, we use several and cycle through cleaner bags, which I find gives better cleaning results (one reason bags are often sold in pairs). If you keep re-using the same bag every single day, stick with the real ones, as they will last longer. ... show more
