  • Very nice exercise bike!!!
I waffled for a while on the price of this bike but after reading a lot of information about others I decided that I wanted this one being a chain drive versus a belt drive and frankly I'm not sorry I decided to buy this one. Bike was received on 3/5/20 My first impressions is that it arrived well packaged and all the part were there, it's built like a tank ie it's built to last for years, fit and finish were first class, welds clean and smooth , good paint job. A lot of thought went into this bike and a lot of good QC is evident in the one I received, that's appreciated as a consumer. The assembly wes a snap, even a caveman did it. Give yourself a lot of room and have a trash can and box cutter handy. The instructions were simple, pictures accurate and the tools that came all worked and were easy to use and worth keeping. Adjustments are easy, and the bike works great plenty of resistance and it gave me the workout I wanted and expected. I went over the whole machine and checked tightness and the only thing I found was the screws on the fan cage were a bit loose, no big deal. I'll give it five stars out of the gate and update if needed. A word of warning this bike is heavy, for some it might be best to have two people do the assembly and moving, I'm 71 but had no trouble at all doing it. But then I'm a tough old bird. ;) An update: The only thing I hate about the bike is that for $728.00 bucks you'd get a monitor that had a backlight in it. This is the feedback I left on the assault site. ******************* I really like the overall machine, fit, finish, ease of assembly, all first class, gives a great workout all five stars. However that being said The readout/electronics are pretty darn sad for an exercise bike that hit the floor at home here at $728.00 one would expect at the very least a screen that had a backlight feature so the user could see what the hell they are accomplishing. Someone went cheap on the design at the end, I guess I could get a headband with a light on it or carry a flashlight to see the screen in my teeth. ... show more

  • Classic Assault Bike – Worth Every Penny!
The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased this classic assault bike, and it brought back memories from 20 years ago when I used this type of bike during physical rehabilitation. It’s as great as I remember and still better than any other stationary bike I’ve tried. One of my favorite features is the fan—having that breeze while working out is a huge plus for me, especially since I tend to get hot quickly. Shipping Experience: I purchased this bike on 05 January, and since I live in Oahu, I figured it wouldn’t qualify for a free two-day shipping. Especially this type of heavyweight product. My only shipping options were: pay $27.99 for delivery by 24 January or $34.99 for delivery by 17 January. Wanting the bike as soon as possible, I chose the 17 January option. I was a bit concerned when the product hadn’t shipped by 3 AM on 16 January. I contacted Amazon customer service, worried that my order wouldn’t arrive on time. They reassured me that it was scheduled for delivery by 17 January. The next morning, I received a UPS notification confirming my order had finally shipped, with an estimated arrival around noon. Sure enough, it was delivered on time, right at noon on 17 January. Assembly Process: I’ll be honest—written instructions are not my strong suit. Thankfully, YouTube came to the rescue! The video I followed from Assault Bike 10 years ago was extremely helpful, and I highly recommend watching it. I even previewed it before my bike arrived. That said, I took my time with the assembly, organizing every part and double-checking as I went. It took me about 3.5 hours from start to finish (including cleanup), but that’s because I was meticulous, and I’m not the healthiest or most active person at the moment. If you’re more experienced or handy, it’ll probably take you about an hour. Modifications: I replaced the original bike seat with an oversized cushion, which is much more comfortable for me as an overweight individual. Some reviews mentioned the stock seat wasn’t ideal for larger users, and I completely agree. Initial Use: After assembly, I tested the bike briefly and found it to work well. My only issue is a bit of wiggle where the seat adjusts forward and backward, even though it’s tightly secured. I’ll see if it becomes a problem after a week or two of regular use. Overall, this bike is solid and enjoyable to use. I love the nostalgic design, and it’s a fantastic addition to my fitness routine. I’ve attached some pictures for reference. Would I recommend it? Absolutely! ... show more

  • Solid Bike, Works Great, Highly Recommend
I worked at a Police Department 5 years ago, and they had a Rogue air bike. The equivalent of this assault bike. I loved having the bike for my HIIT workouts and always wanted to grab one. I'm now 2 weeks into owning this bike, and it is going strong and I'm glad I got it. The price point certainly seems very good for what you get. The bike comes in one large package. I assembled it in my garage and used everything that came with the bike. This thing is packaged super well, honestly, I spent more time unpacking the bike than assembling it. The instructions are easy to follow and you can honestly have this bike up and running in no time. The hand looks that come with it do a great job. Construction, this thing is a tank and was one of my concerns. I'm currently around 240 lbs, and this thing doesn't leave me worried at all in regards to my weight. It's just as strong and sturdy as the Rogue. I was worried about the program modes, but I added the photo so you could see. It already has the 10-20 and 20-10 modes build in. I haven't even explored the other programs because those two are all I really wanted thr bike for. If there is one con to this bike, I'd say that I found it really easy to cross thread your bolts. Just go slow and smooth and you should be good. This bike is worth the purchase and I'd recommend it over the Rogue if you're in need of saving a few bucks. ... show more
