    • Works, but a little scary
I have a small barn in which I was catching a mouse nearly every day in a kill trap. Plugged this unit in and have not caught a mouse since. N = 1. Works. I plugged the second unit in my garage, which has my bedroom above. The first night I had an unusual raging headache that was so bad it caused me to vomit. Immediately unplugged it and let it sit for a few days, wondering if it was a coincidence or real. I plugged the unit back in today and my dog immediately ran away (I did not have the pet friendly switched on). Switched the pet friendly on...and the dog would stay in the garage. We will see if I get the headache tonite. Those are my only observations. Don't know if the headache was a coincidence. But the dog definitely did not like it. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I live in an urban area. Medium size apartment complex. I bought these a while ago now. And so far they are working very well. I haven’t heard anything in my walls since I plug them in.

We had lizards, squirrels, mice, rats and eventually even snakes coming through a corner under the siding into the walls between our units. Because they were in between the walls of our town home unit and the neighboring units this made it difficult to get them out. Our neighbors were in denial insisting it was only squirrels. The fact is it was a little of everything. They were even coming in under the flashing on the roof. We live in a quaduplex. Because it was on the outside of the building we had to work with the HOA and the management company which made the job of getting rid of them turn into something akin to political gridlock. It was a nightmare. Pest control companies don't work because you have to have them set bait stations around the perimeter of the whole building and not everyone was on board with this, or in agreement with who was going to pay for it. So I desperately scoured the internet for a solution. Since I'd had ultrasonic pest control devices before and they weren't working I was skeptical. But I'd never tried the 5 in 1 and was doubtful it would work. But I thought if any of them would it would be this one. I ordered two and the rodent activity quieted down so I ordered 2 more. I haven't had them long enough to really know if they will work long term. I hope they do. I have asthma and this is the safest solution for me and my neighbors pets. I have one in the garage and attic. One up and one downstairs. Rodents don't seem to like them. I don't know about insects. So far so good....I think I'm going to order some more soon. ... show more

Not sure if they’re working yet but had good reviews. If you have sensitive hearing, do not buy. The sonic sounds can be heard and are very annoying.

    • Zero spiders in my garage
I'm very pleasantly surprised. I bought these fully willing to take the chance they wouldn't work. I decided to put two in my garage, where I get the most spiders. I figured if I were to going to find out if this worked, it'd for sure be in my garage where I'd notice the difference. I've had zero spiders this summer at least that I could see. I always see lots of webbing, spider eggs (YUCK!) and big spiders, live spiders, dead spiders but nothing this summer and fall. I haven't really seen any other bugs in the garage either. I'm sure there could still be some in the darker recesses of junk that is in my garage, but I've seen nothing at all: no webs, no sacs. Nada. These devices must be working or it's one heck of a coincidence. My home is surrounded by 40 arborvitae that are almost two stories tall and as you may know, spiders LOVE to live in them so it's not for a lack of population. I'm ordering more for the upper level of my home. ... show more

    • Seeing if this will help with my bedbug problem.
I like it but i really need one thats effective against bed bugs. That is my problem right now. I have tried poison sprays, very heavy on diatomacious earth, staying up and killing them by hand. I have a steamer now and will be trying that soon. I am concerned 120 decibels might be messing with my hearing. I hope not but it is a concern. I have not had this long enough to know what it will do with the bed bugs yet. I thought it might help so i'm trying it. I found another brand with different frequencies that makes a claim that it gets rid of the bed bugs so i may try it. I do have the other pest to so it will probably get rid of them ok. For that its worth it. ... show more

The device itself seems to be functioning as expected so if it wasn't for the design I would have rated it as a 5 star item. The Pet Friendly switch on two of the six that I ordered were broken. The seller promptly replaced it so I am happy with the seller. The switch that was broken is easy to break and the actual unit takes quite a bit of space on the outlet. The second outlet is usable for certain type of plugs but some items like wall flowers can not be used in conjunction with it. ... show more

I didn't have a major infestation.(Well, f'ing bed bugs from some hotel but that's a different issue.) I had problems where cockroaches were somehow getting into the house and I'd awake in the middle of the night to see one of these pieces of crap crawling on something. I killed two large ones in one night. That's when I bought these. Since putting the things up (I have four of them in here) I haven't even seen a pill bug. It's like they all evacuated the place. The roach bait I put out hasn't been touched either. I wouldn't rely on these things as a primary pest control device, but it does seem to help. Now, I don't have mouse/rat problems down here, so I can't speak to that. ... show more
