A few days before Christmas we discovered we had some kind of animal running around in our walls. We weren't sure what it was at first, but we could hear it scampering thru the walls. At first we thought it may be mice or worse yet a rat but we have cats and have never been invaded by mice as cats are their predators. The pitter patter of the foot sounds were of something much larger. I had my son look for entry points on the house but it being December it was pretty cold out there. He climbed on the roof and found peanut shells but couldn't find entry points on the roof. Then my daughter heard the chucking sounds of a squirrel so we knew what we were dealing with. At the risk of having to hire an expensive trapper or exterminator I looked for some solutions first. I ran across these high power frequency conversion repellent devices and I thought what do I have to loose? Thankfully they arrived the very next morning. They have three settings high, med., & low that are depicted by soft lights red, yellow, & blue. They are small so you can still connect something else in the outlet. They're also very lightweight. The appearance is that of a small night light. They're easy to use too, no complicated set up... just plug in the outlet & decide on high med or low setting. You can't hear them at all altho, my daughter said she can hear something like white noise when set to high. It doesn't bother my cats at all, but here's the best feature of all. MY SQUIRREL DISAPPEARED! It only took one day & all was peaceful within my walls. I CANNOT believe the effectiveness of these handy little devices. They came in a pack of 6 & I presently have 5 plugged in my outlets on medium. I am so thankful these worked! As for now until spring I will continue to use them. When the weather breaks I'll go outside & try to find their entry points & seal them, but for now at least I dont have to worry they're chewing wires and wood which as we all know can cause major damage to my house.     • Works better than expected!
Didn't expect them to work as well as they do. I placed a couple in my crawlspace for rats, and a few around my house where I've noticed bugs (Mostly spiders). I haven't seen/heard any sign of either pests since. Seriously, not a single spider. Things to note: There's 3 noise modes - blue/low, orange/mid, red/high. The blue and orange are indetectable to us (although my friend claims he can hear the orange/mid noise a little). The red/high is loud enough to audibly hear. It sounds like a slow, high-pitched, pulsing siren. I keep the 2 in my crawlspace on high, the rest around my house on mid. Seems to be working as advertised. Lastly, if the power goes out or they get unplugged/plugged back in you'll have to restart them. They don't power back up on their own. Kinda annoying for the ones in crawlspace, but def worth it! ... show more

This product has changed my life! Our house is prone to mice as well as other bugs, especially ants. I can deal with the bugs, but the mice were getting out of control. Humane traps no longer worked and I really didn’t want to harm the critters. I bought these plug ins hoping they’d make a difference somehow. Since placing them around my house and on the lowest setting, I have not had any critters in my home! Last winter we had an average of 3-4 mice a week. This winter- zero! And no bugs at all! We can’t hear the product and our 3 cats don’t seem to notice it either. I would 1000% buy this product again and often recommend it to others! ... show more
