For under $60 these are really great knives. They arrived properly packaged and the edges are razor sharp. A little flimsy, but this is a very inexpensive set and it was better than I was expecting. If you do not abuse these knives as in heavy handed chopping, instead do the steady rock back and forth never going higher above your chopping block than necessary and they should stand up well for at least half a dozen years and for the price, that is a great value. I have used them for a month with ZERO rusting (I do immediately hand wash and dry and place in block). If you are expecting something fantastic that some celebrity chef would approve of, no, but this dime store cook gives 2 thumbs up .... Seriously, what do you expect for $60.00 ... show more

The knives are great very very sharp, steel goes completely through the handle. Easy to use I have another set of these knives I got for my travel trailer. Got these knives for a studio apartment. The knives are great The peeler is absolute junk useless. The stand is cool looks great, but it takes up a lot of space and you can't put it underneath a cabinet and still access all the knives. All in all I think it's a great set I was just really disappointed with the peelers which fit nicely together and I have a pull-down peeler that I love so I was kind of excited that that was the style of these but they do not work anything like the peeler I have and just rip the food as you pull down. ... show more
