  • It Ripps!
Color: Green
Check and recheck your pinion grub screw. Invest in locktite or threadlocker! On the third run the pinion grub screw backed out and was rubbing on aluminum motor mount. Get a set of name brand metric Allen’s keys 2.5mm and 3mm for motor mount and pinion gear. The first sign of it loose is a drivetrain rattle. Visually look at the red coated aluminum motor mount for missing paint next to the pinion gear. If it’s rubbing the grub screw has backed out. Pinion gear is a 23T on a 8mm motor shaft. The first models were 5mm motors so don’t get confused. These are all V2 trucks and should all now be 8mm motor shafts. ESControl setup for wheelies and power, you want punch on 5 and motor timing half way, number three or so. Batteries, at least a 5200mah with 50C rating. Charge at 5.2amp on a balanced charge. Make sure you turn up your brake to at least 65 percent. It’s a heavy truck to stop so do not full throttle until you know it has brakes!!! Trust me! Factory braking takes a long ways to stop!! Turn AVC off on remote controller until your ESC is all programmed. Then use the remote to adjust your braking power. I advise not to set the brake at 100 percent because it will do a front flip!! 65-75 percent and tune the rest of the braking power with the remote knob. AVC will lower your power in turns and it will also try to keep the vehicle going straight at high speed. Just don’t reli on it, YOU WILL CRASH! It’s no TOY! It will do every bit of 55mph out of the box with a 23T pinion and the esc setup. No reason to go that fast as it gets out of control easier and easier as speed increases. These people with broken arms, I don’t know what they are doing but have a feeling they are thrashing it at speeds of 50mph. If you respect it, you won’t have that problem. Performance is totally amazing out of the box!! No not Amazing, it’s Insane!! ... show more

  • Good truggy
Color: Green
Great truck is very heavy so if your into jumping, use drywall tape and shoogoo on the body or else the weight of this beast will crack in several places, tires came vented, rear differential and center differential came with very light fluid , good of your a winter driver, upgraded the front bumper and installed mud guards in the front , this is not a beginner rc it will definitely cause severe injury if it hits you great for intermediate to experienced hobbyists, turns are not that sharp but it is very well balanced and will not flip that easy , overall great buy!!! ... show more

  • Hulk SMASH! Hulk Broke.. Hulk Fix.. Hulk Smash!
Color: Green
Epic Epic Epic then i broke it.. lol warning this is not a toy.. but if you decide to play with it have fun! anything you don't break but cannot fix probably isnt worth keeping.. this may be life advice but yeah you will break this thing if you get lost in the moment. heres a few Technical advice. 1) Use the Trim features of your RC Controller. remember the safety of yourself, property and others rest upon the trigger and the wheel control. The faster the RC goes the mores sensitive it is when it changes direction. when you are doing "fast straights" you want your sensitivity for steering low.. (when you turn the wheel on your controller the wheels of the rc dosent go full pitch is a lower sensitivity setting) thats what you want for fast straights it will help you prevent roll overs and would teach you the basics of driving rc at high speeds. At med speeds (trigger at no more than 2/3) you want a more sensitivity the balance of how much less or more is up to you as you learn to control the car better. some advance controllers allow you to program a mix that allows these values to change depending on your desire. 2)RC with friends. a good community is a community that plays with and against each other in the spirit of self improvement. find a RC community near you. #trustme #thankmelater when you become part of the any rc community you elevate your understanding of electronics and a consequence science. if you can learn to become good in RC its safe to say you can learn to be good at anything.. i could be wrong. 3)when all else fails the strong will continue. the cost of ownership of a hobby lifestyle is tremendous. however what other life style do we keep that cost to much but we enjoy very little. Safety rant: if you are not a experienced RC hobbyist please be aware that this giant RC car can and will hurt small people and animals that may get in its path.. remember the level of discretion you can act upon depends upon how safe you can operate. dont go fast around things that you dont want to harm.. that way if you happen to lose control of the RC and hit something valueble you wouldnt feel like such a sack of S****, lol my experience knows this feeling very well to conclude XmaXX VS Kreaton8s? well are you a Driver? or a Basher? Drivers like to carve corners and go fast. Bashers looks for ramps and concerned citizens... im a Basher who loves to drive.. so kinda Effed on that thats why i own both.. but if you dont have a sickness like me. pick the Kreaton8s for driving chills and the XmaxX for Air time and OMGs. cheers. ... show more

  • 1/5 scale is so much fun.
Color: Green
It’s a lot of money for a RC but once I did it and it arrived I can’t stop smiling over how much fun it is to run this thing 5 time’s out and it’s still doing great.I would recommend to those looking for something with great handling and good cornering not really a basher fun to watch coming out of turns and coming right at you. ... show more
