Got it on a cyber Monday, half the price...however, I'll have to order another one for our size house. So recommend going up a size, if sizable house. Seems to work well, needed because have a wood stove.

So, I got this cleaner on Sunday and was surprised on how easy it was to set up. I am not sure the description is correct as it says it cleans a very large room and this thing is very small, but we will see. Twist the two cylinders take out the packaged filter place back in and twist back together. I work in a hospital and have a large office. I sat this up on Monday and put it on the #2 setting and left it running all day and overnight. The #2 setting was very quiet and did not bother me at all. The high setting was pretty loud, but I just turned it down. When I walked into my office this morning the smell was fantastic. The air felt cleaner, the dust had seemed to dissipate, and I was very relieved on how well the room smelled. I think this will be a good unit if it last very long. I did go this afternoon and look for replacement filter, but they seemed to have disappeared. Overall, in the short time I have had this I give it 5 stars. The only issue is it says 2000 lifetime and I am concerned that it will make you buy a new filter at 200 hours, but we will see. For the price you can't beat this machine. 1 question is the blue light functional or just a pretty thing? ps. I did buy the Amazon extended warranty as I couldn't find a manufactures warranty. Will update if anything goes wrong. ... show more

I've had this product for a while now, about 7 or 8 months and it's been great. I first got it during wildfire season when there was very heavy smoke in my area for weeks and I was desperate for relief. Having this inside my house made things almost totally comfortable and barely any smoke smell at all. For noise it's not that bad really, to me it sounds like brown noise instead of white noise and it wasn't hard for me to sleep with it if it was on a 1, if it's on night mode there is barely, if any noise at all. I found that it purified air better on a 1 at night during heavy wildfire smoke than in night mode. This was during days where the air quality was in the high 300's or even over 400. I found that I liked having the noise of the level 1 to help me sleep a little, which surprised me because I didn't think I would. During the daytime though I'd have it on a level 2 during the height of wildfire season. Outside of wildfire season I've had it on sporadically when I felt like things were maybe a little stuffy and it eliminates that very well. The little indicator light for changing the filter came on at about 6 months. After you change it to a new one you just hold down the reset button for a few seconds until it beeps and your done. If you unplug it though when you change it, it'll reset itself and the indicator light will already be off. I feel a lot better about future wildfire seasons now that I have this and I'd definitely recommend it, just be sure to twist it open when you first get it and take the plastic off the air filter. Very easy to use and does a good job with air purification. Used it after having hardwood floors sanded and stained. Did a good job of cleaning dust particles and varnish odors out of the air.
