  • Reliable, Quiet, and Versatile Air Purifier with Excellent Performance After a Year of Use
Color: White Size: 1000 Sq. Ft.
I’ve been using the Shark HC502 air purifier for a year now, and I continue to be very satisfied with its performance. It’s extremely quiet, making it perfect for any room, especially the bedroom. The sensors are sensitive, accurately detecting changes in air quality, and the purification capability remains strong even after a year of use. The built-in heater is a great bonus, adding functionality that makes it an excellent all-in-one device. The remote control is a convenient touch, making adjustments simple and easy. The design is sleek, fitting seamlessly into any room’s décor without looking out of place. Initially, there was a slight plastic smell, but it dissipated quickly after a short period of use. For those concerned about this, I suggest running the heater in a different area before bringing it into the bedroom. Regarding maintenance, I recommend using Shark’s original replacement filters despite their slightly higher price, as I noticed a significant difference in air purification compared to third-party alternatives. To save on filter replacement costs, you can regularly clean the outer filter and even add a "Cut To Fit Carbon Activated Air Filter," available on Amazon, which significantly extends the life of the internal filters. Overall, the Shark HC502 is a reliable and efficient air purifier with strong functionality, sensitive sensors, and a modern design that complements any home environment. ... show more

  • Updated Review: 5 Stars
Color: Charcoal Grey Size: 1000 Sq. Ft
Updated Review: 5 Stars Initially, I rated the Shark 3-in-1 Max Air Purifier, Heater & Fan 3 stars because the air quality sensors weren’t working properly—they always indicated 100% clean. However, I work in an old building where employees wear dirty boots and stir up dust, so I knew the air wasn’t always perfect. Recently, the sensors started working correctly. In the mornings, they indicate air quality in the 90s and gradually improve to 100. When a coworker burned their food, the air quality dropped to the 70s and took about two hours to return to 100. I love this device! It makes my office more comfortable by constantly circulating the air, whether it’s hot or cool. The heater is very quiet and keeps my office cozy. I also love the timer feature as I can set it for 9 hours when I arrive and don’t have to worry about shutting it off. When I hear it shut down, I know it’s close to my time to start shutting down as well. Wish I would have ordered another one for home. The price has significantly increased. ... show more

  • Clean air, lasting filter, blows hot or cold
Color: Charcoal Grey Size: 1000 Sq. Ft
Large sized air purifier that blows clean smelling hot or cold air. I haven't had to change the filter yet but it seems to last long and be easy to clean / change. Has 6 speeds and is relatively quiet

  • Perfect for a room running out of space
Color: White Size: 1000 Sq. Ft.
I've been running this air purifier every single day for about a year and three months or so, had to replace the filter twice, and I've been using it as the primary heat source in my room whenever it gets cold in the fall, through winter, and into spring. It runs every day otherwise on air purifier+fan mode, until I need to switch it back over to the heater setting. It's got a few quirks to it in my situation and where I have it, and I've had to move it around and away from where it probably works best, but it still does a great job for what I need. So, for some backstory, I live in a house that is about 110 years old, and it just about has old everything; Old windows, old duct work, old unfinished basement, old plaster walls in some areas. I can seal the windows when it gets cold out, at least to the best of my abilities, with shopping bags in the cracks and the seals, and caulking rope on the outside of those to keep more cold out, but they're still single pane windows. I can run the furnace at a higher heat, but I won't get much of it on the second floor, because it doesn't throw far enough. Because of that, I could just use a space heater, but they can be bulky on their own, and I like to run an air purifier too, because being a house that's over 100 years old, it's a dusty shack that doesn't know how to keep clean no matter what you do. This does both jobs almost perfectly, and it's improved my quality of sleep, breathing, and just life in general. I don't have to fight a chill every cold day any more, the air is cleaner and fresher, it circulates air good on its own on the fan mode, and having a remote for it means that if I start getting too hot in bed, I don't need to get up and go adjust things in the middle of the night. Now, like I said, it's almost perfect, but it has some quicks. For one, in my room, if I want it to be about 73 degrees, I can't leave it at 73, it won't reach that temperature in the room, it'll usually stay at 71. Not bad, but it's not quite enough. If I go higher, like at 75, then it'll get it to 73 pretty easily; and then it keeps on climbing, until it hits about 80 degrees and finally understands "hey, it's 75 degrees, shut off". This used to be an issue for me, until I realized that if I just kept a second fan on, like the one I run in my window during summer, it'll spread the heat a little more evenly around the room, keeping it more evenly warmed, and actually cause the sensor to realize sooner that it's 75. Well, 75 on the unit, not the room, but it stops at 73, which is actually what I want it at anyways. Maybe this is just because of the room I'm using it in, or the house I live in, or even the location in the room for it; I can't have it where it probably should be, that being a little farther from the walls. Unfortunately I just have too much stuff in just one room, but all things considered I have it working just fine for what I need. All in all, this is an amazing combination unit, and if you need both a heater and an air purifier, this will more than fit that bill. ... show more

  • Love this purifier
Color: Charcoal Grey Size: 1000 Sq. Ft
This handy purifier does the job. It's lightweight, and displays live changes immediately as the air quality changes. The remote is little 'iffy' at times as it doesn't always work I've experienced. Other than that, decent afforadble good quality 3-n-1 air purifier.

  • Good combo air purifier + heater, but not exceptional. One of the only ones available though.
Color: White Size: 1000 Sq. Ft.
I use it in a small bedroom. There are not a lot of combination heater + air purifier + fan units available other than Dyson, which is prohibitively expensive. I bought this one on black friday. So far, performance has just been okay. The oscillating function is quite loud and enough to be annoying at night time. It's also quite loud in general, even on the standard air purifying mode. The heater works well and heats the room evenly. The unit is very large - see photos for scale. The remote is also the primary controller for the unit, and uses the small little button batteries. The problem with the remote is that it uses an infrared sensor, so you have to point it exactly at the receiver in order for a signal to go through. Overall, I would not buy this unit again. It's a good idea, but execution is a bit sloppy. Loud, creaky, and unwieldy to use. ... show more
