Very easy to use straight out of the box! Just put the filter in and plug. Also it is very quiet and cleans the air of dust and allergens. You can also time it for 8, 16 or 24 hours.

I've had this air purifier for about a month now, so I feel pretty confident in sharing my opinion about it at this point. Like I said he's the new man in my life. Positives: 1. He's dependable. 2. A straight workhorse if I let him go 24/7...and he would, but I'm not a monster. I give him a break from time to time. 3. He gets the job done. My air is noticeably cleaner and fresher. 4. The lights on it are subtle, not obnoxious like some products I have had that blind you every time you turn them on. Negatives: 1. The fragrance slot on the side is a nice touch. Don't get too excited though. It's about the size of a postage stamp (if even) and you have to refill it pretty often. I use a combo of essential oils in mine. The problem is that the sponge doesn't retain the moisture and dries out even though it is oil. 2. The other drawback of this purifier is the noise. It's not terrible, and you actually kind of get used to it...Hence the reason I call him my boyfriend. It's like having someone in the room with you snoring, but it's not enough sound to be obnoxious and keep you up at night. I just think of it as white noise. Summary: He's a little noisy but cute. He means well, works hard, and does what he says he will do. He even cleans up around the house. He's a keeper. 4 out of 5 stars (and I'm pretty picky). ... show more

bundle filters and unit, such a deal! it's so tiny but does a good job, i thought it was a little bigger but it so cute actually perfect for a small room, the ionizer is there i can smell it, and other odors i don't anymore and the uv is way on the bottom. it's most likely overwhelmed actually i might have gotten a bigger unit but this lil gal is doing a great job! so i got another one for the other room! he doesn't though work quite as much as she does she takes care of the birds! ty ... show more

I purchased three of these for my home and other than the fact that recently (after my purchase) they increased the coupon from $5 to $10 off costing me $15 more I am still very pleased with the purchase. I must admit that I did not realize that if I did not set the timer that the units would run continuously which is what I had wanted. The fan on 2 or 3 does have noticeable ( though not disturbing) sound but at 1 is almost silent. Filters are super easy to replace and cost far less than most for these devices. I have monitor to test particulates etc. and so far these appear to be doing what I want. In my bedroom for some reason dust accumulates faster than rest of the house and after a month of use notice a significant reduction in the dust in the room. In fact none where usually would have to dust every week. This unit will only cover 254 square feet of room so keep that in mind if considering. If your use is like mine then I can high recommend this unit. Recently one of the three units stopped working and I was afraid that I would have to use warranty but realized that I needed to hold the power button down longer as I had apparently turned unit off accidentally as wall switch shut off current to the outlet. Working fine again. Also I noted comment about the aromatherapy tray. I do not use that as there are warning about using these if you have pets. I did before knowing that try one and I also noticed it seemed to cause me sinus issues. The aroma was very slight but noticeable. I bought this to help with the air quality in my old home due to my allergies. I was looking to replace a small tabletop air purifier with this one. I got it on sale for $36ish , down from the original of 60 something. If I had paid full price I'd have been very disappointed, it's quite a small unit. I was not aware it was another table top size. That might be my own oversight, but disappointed nonetheless. The essential oil diffuser indeed does not work, I'm not sure the UV is really a UV. Yes, the unit does work overall, only moderate noise on the high function , and it did seem to improve the air quality in the day or so I've used it in my bedroom. Can't speak on longevity of item as I haven't had it long. In a pinch for a small area it works, but I feel the original price is much too high considering the size of item. ... show more
