You know when you have pets and your sinus is all plugged up and you can’t breath??? Nuwave to the rescue !!!! This sleek, WiFi connecting (super easy) to control from your phone, easily moveable (4 wheels) machine, works incredibly well in a 1450sf home. You can be cooking and set it on auto, and it will automatically kick in levels 1-6, and remove orders in seconds. It sits in our great room (kitchen, dining & living room, open plan space). Unless on turbo, it’s quiet enough to place in a bedroom, and it does not interfere with big screen TV viewing 10 ft away. The air is so strong you can easily feel it from 20ft away. It saves on your AC central from having to kick on, as the moving air actually cools you from 20 ft away when set at the mid to higher levels. So we set our thermostat higher. If guests walk in from smoking, it will go off immediately for approximately 15 seconds, if it detects any smoke residue on you or in the air. We had a guest come over and when he went up close to look at it , it immediately turned on and he asked, “do I smell”? lol 😂 . Pet dander and cat box smells are no longer issues. Purchased separately, the unit base cover (diaper we call it, that goes around the bottom and 4 legs fit in it) to keep pet hair from clogging the filters….the fur just sticks to it and never enters the unit. There are two washable diapers in the pkg, therefore, you always have a clean one ready. Nuwave unit is a little pricy, but watch for a $50 coupon, so check the box, and we purchased a damaged box unit Amazon had, and saved another $100. When it arrived we couldn’t find anything wrong with the box. Placed in the box, are 8 extra filters .to replace the one that is not washable. This unit is easy to use and works when you need it. We have it in our restaurant seating area which is about 4800 cu Ft. This unit is supposed to take care of 2500 cu Ft, I believe. However, it works great in our seating area of 20X20X12. I noticed it instantly detects foul orders (dirty mop buckets, garbage cans rolling next to it) and instantly kicks into another gear to clear the air when in auto. The turbo button (not sure it's called "turbo") is a a good way to prep the area if you know you'll be working in the area. We just opened and this came in handy during and after our restoration. It is quiet and looks really nice. It is easy to move and has many control options. We use the auto mode while open and manually turn it off at night. It has a timer and scheduler but we've not used those features yet. There are a lot of filters and many extra filters. That's a nice bonus. A little on the pricey side, but for the volume of air we ask it to clean, and all its features, it's worth the investment. Strange this is, after I've been working all day and stand next to this unit, it kicks into high gear and the indicators show "dirty"... Maybe it's trying to tell me I need a shower? ... I take it that the sensor is tuned to sense humidity and sweat and reacts to conditions in the air. Love this unit, I recommend purchasing. ... show more

It meets the challenge of having two dogs and a toddler. It covers a large area and keeps my living room and dining room smelling fresh. It performs well by adjusting fan speed to deal with odors and air quality.

The product worked right out of the box. I see no advantage to using the remote or app; it's just another thing that could go wrong. My home is fresh and the air is clean. I cooked chicken, and the smell register lit up and quickly recovered.

It seems to do a good job and is reasonably quiet even on high speed. Has a lot of nice features. I understand there’s a common problem in pairing it to your phone. I have tried numerous times with NuWave employees to get it paired with no results For $600.00, I’m not a very happy camper. So I’m severely allergic to dust and we are going through a bathroom remodel right now. I have air cleaners in every room all the time, we live on acreage and have dogs. So dust is just a fact of life for us. Within 15 minutes of this air cleaner running the air quality improved significantly and into normal range. I’ve tried every air cleaner , air scrubber out there and this one is the best ! The app is easy to use and all the filters are fabulous. I feel this will keep the dust at manageable levels and I’ll be able to stay in the house for this remodel. Works great at keeping the air clean, and pollen free. Pros: I have noticed that I'm finding much less dust while cleaning the main level where the unit is. The unit's washable filters are easy to clean. Cons: The initial cost is high. At full fan speed the unit can be load if trying to listen something else near by. (We set the fan speed to low during the day, and auto at night.) Tip: If you have pets that shed, get two of the optional fabric outer covers/filters that cover the bottom intake. It will capture the fur and extend the time between cleaning the first filter due to the fur. ... show more
