I'm lucky to have bought this, because a few days after it was delivered my neighbor's car battery was completely dead. I had already ensured it was at full charge after receiving it (was mostly full from the get go) and had checked out all of the connections and did a manual read through, so I was prepared. Come time to use it, it was super easy. It worked amazingly fast and the car was running and ready to take my neighbor to buy a fresh battery from the store. So, the thing is really small compared to the older-style/standard jump starters. You can easily hold this in one hand and it'd probably fit in your pocket if you needed to. It comes with a small case to hold everything together and you can stash it away until you need it. It has easy to read LEDs that let you know the battery and charging status. It's honestly as simple as plugging the cables in and attaching it to the car battery. The only one tiny little thing I didn't like, but understand, the BOOST button is in a tiny pin hole, so requires something small to activate it. I thought I may have to use it on my neighbor's battery, because his battery was dead dead, but I didn't have anything on hand to use it. Luckily I didn't need it. I have since put a pin key in the bag with the jump starter and cables. I wish it had included one to begin with. I understand the reason for making the button difficult to press, it literally shuts off ALL safety mechanisms within the unit so you get the absolute maximum power. It's definitely something you only want to press when you absolutely need it. So overall, it's a great product. It's super useful to have and comes in handy. Whether you need it now, or not, it's good to keep in your car just in case. The charge holds for months, so you can honestly forget about it until you need it. It can even double as a phone charger, or power other devices (such as a car vacuum), so it can be used often, or just kept in case you ever need it. ... show more

I already used this five times in it is easy to use in the car starts up every time. I still had 92% charge after three jumps. It arrived at 95% charged. Carrying case is good quality and has a fabric separator so that the accessories don't scratch the unit.

And so far it's performed starting my car (after it sits for a couple or more days unused) easily and perfectly for the 460 V8 it is! The only thing that is cheesy is the compass. It like came out of a gumball machine. They may have well just left it off the body of the jump starter. It's useless and totally inaccurate. But the rest of it I really like. And it comes with the charger for you to recharge it.....without having to buy one for additional monies adding to the cost of it. Great deal right here. ... show more

Its staggering peak current of 3000 A was more than enough to give my 6.0L diesel engine a jolt of life without my having to break a sweat. It is comforting to know that this jump starter has the power to get the job done, regardless of whether I am dealing with a dead battery in my SUV or if I am assisting a fellow driver who is in need. In addition to its primary function as a trusted jump starter, it may also be used in a pinch as a flexible portable power bank. During my most recent trip to the campground, I ensured that all of my electronic gadgets were fully charged and ready for use. I can charge both my smartphone and my tablet at the same time thanks to the many output possibilities and the presence of a USB Quick Charge 3.0 connector, which guarantees charging at the speed of light. It is admirable that such careful consideration was given to the design of this jump starter. I own a Harley Heritage Classic motorcycle and the battery is recessed and impossible to reach using the clamps. So I purchased a 10 AWG O-ring to EC5 battery extension cable [1.5’] [such as https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B088R29RM5/] which plugs into the clamps socket. I attached the cable to the battery terminals and tucked the cable away under the seat. Voilà! It is now conveniently ready to be jumped by this battery pack. A previous battery jumper I had purchased used a non-standard EC5 plug, so I returned it. This item happily uses a standard EC5 plug for it’s clamps. The pack is light weight, compact in size and comes with a convenient carry case. Instructions were clear, except for where the override/bypass switch is located. They don’t call it out in the diagram; a careful inspection is required to identify it. ... show more
