Many people probably buy a jump starter, toss it in their vehicle, and don't end up using it for quite some time. Perhaps by pure coincidence, I ended up running my battery down shortly after buying this NOCO and quickly got to test it out. Extensively. It turns out my battery was the 7 year old OEM model and losing all charge killed it completely. So, for a week or so I was resurrecting it 2-3 times a day to get to and from work. I can confidently say that this NOCO unit works well and very quickly. I was able to get my car moving many times before needing to be recharged. I also had the opportunity to use it to resuscitate a "bricked" Nissan Leaf, which required using the scary manual override button to get it to detect properly. I still don't really understand that feature, but it seems to have worked. My one complaint, after clamping onto the contacts so many times, is that the ridged plastic tips of the cable clamps chipped several times. I would suggest switching to a rubber-like material for the tips to avoid this from happening. Other than that, this is a great product. ... show more

Bought this as a gift for my elderly parents and loved it so much I had to get one myself! Got a call last week that they had to use it and it worked great!! They love keeping their independence. :-D. It is very small in size but packs a punch! I am impressed with its power. You can also charge your phone with it. The lights power on… once the light starts blinking you can start your car- and it started right up! It seems very durable. I love the compact design which also comes in a travel back. I got this on sale just before Christmas, but would pay full price for it as well as it has already been a life saver. Great value for the money! ... show more

    • Worked great to startup a car with dead battery
Easy to use. Charge it up, connect it and then start up your car. Had a dead battery in the winter and connected the Battery Jump Starter. After the indicator LEDs indicated things were good, turned the ignition and car fired up. Went to the shop and got the car battery replaced after that, but jump starter worked great and worthwhile to keep in the car. Also, contains ports to charge up your smart phone and an integrated LED light to use as a flash light in the dark. Need to make sure the battery is fully charged before using it when you receive it. Overall, pleased with the purchase and much better than just having jumper cables in the trunk. ... show more

    • Small, powerful, easy to use and store.
When I first purchased this charger. I couldn’t give it a 5 star rating because I had not used it then. But now I can say this charger is very nice and it works great. I’ve used it twice on a 2.5 liter engine and once on a 3.5 liter engine with the batteries on all 3 vehicles being totally empty of any charge. I connected the NOCO, turned it on and hit the boot charge and all 3 cars started up and with no hesitation. I knew the NOCO still had much charging power left, but I just wanted to see how much power was drained from it. I connected the NOCO charger to my lap top and it was still full. I love this charger and with the NOCO carry case for it. It’s very convenient for storage and to carry around it I had to. The charger is heavy and appears to be well built.     • Nice Device But, Be Aware.
The unit is easy to use and it does the job. It charges quickly and it comes with an adapter for use in the car lighter. My only complaint (and my fault for not researching more carefully) is that the charge cable does not have a standard USB plug. The unit is designed to accept a USB plug that can then be connected to another device to be charged. However, to charge the unit itself requires an adapter that does not come standard with the package. All of may adapters could accept a standard USB plug only.     • Works as advertised, but always with car battery issues
Compact mobile car jumping system. Have used twice now, once in a normal situation where the car lights were just left, and one where the car had battery itself was on its way out (battery barely held charge, car would die if lights were left on without engine running after barely 5 minutes, etc). Did not work in the 2nd situation, but it was attempting to deliver power just like it should and was operating normally. Ended up jumping the car with cables since it didn't work. Worked fine in first situation and jumped the car 1st attempt. Both with cars for reference. May just have needed one of the more powerful models possibly for car with the battery issue. My takeaway from using it twice is that if the car battery itself has problems, this device may not be enough in some cases. The little extras carry bag and flashlight function, as well as power out for your personal devices is great feature. Would buy for myself again if needed or for others. The battery cables are very heavy duty and good quality as well ... show more
