I just got this and want to note that I haven’t used it yet. But it’s lightweight, and fairly easy to understand as well as already charged. It has 4 ways to charge it and/ or charge devices: USB 1/2, USB 3, DC port. Booklet says it holds charge for 12 months but rec’s to recharge every 3 months. It’ll bring a lot of peace of mind. My son rescued me twice with a portable charger in winter. Now I have my own. Will report back when i use it on my car. ... show more

Very impressed with this product functioned perfectly car started full strength. I was out driving when my battery failed alternator is still functioning but the battery won't accept power. I connected this to my battery the car started but of course as soon as I removed it the car died again. So what I had to do was just leave it under my hood in a spot that it wouldn't shake or rattle much and drive slowly home. It actually had enough continuous charge to keep their car going until I got home.. I'm not sure if it was possibly even receiving charge from the alternator and working as a solid state battery of sorts.. either way it got me home and more than paid for itself already and I bought it less than a month ago as a precaution. There are high er dollar units available but the price point was right for me and the reviews seem to backup quality and now I can say I would fully vouch for this product. ... show more

I have used this to help others more than I used it for myself. It has not failed me I never leave home without because it's so compact it stays in the glove compartment. It's not a miracle worker you will need to maintain your car battery but anything short of that the charging ability will get you going.
