I never had an air purifier before. I turned it on and within hours noticed a significant difference in the and smell of the air in my home. It felt much fresher and smelled much fresher. I soon realized that no matter how many square feet it says it will handle, it is far better to have one unit in each room than expect one unit to do the house. Strangely enough, I noticed that I sleep better at night with this air purifier, having purified my air. I’m guessing particles in the air are causing allergic reactions that were keeping me awake. It is quiet . It has automatic controls to turn it on and turn it off, it has a night setting that will turn off the indicator light and turn the fan down to run quieter while you are asleep. I really appreciate the smart aspect of this purifier. I can turn it on and off and change settingsfrom remote locations in my house. I am extremely pleased with my purchase of two of these air purifiers. I had ordered another model first and once it arrived, I realized it was not going to do what I had evaluated that I needed. The listing did not say whether it had a pre-filter or not. It did say that it had a pet setting, but did not mention how the pre-filter worked. The first unit I bought was round the pre-filter was not removable. I returned the round models and bought these rectangular models, which have a pre-filter that is removable and can be washed and put back in place to extend the life of the filter in the unit. Within a day I could see cat hair and dust on the pre-filter. That prove to me that I was not imagining that the air felt much cleaner. I am very pleased with this purchase. ... show more

I use this in my bedroom. It keeps the air nice and fresh in my room. If you have bad allergies buy it, you control it and it works with WiFi so you get alerts on your phone or tablet and it tells you what your air quality is; good, bad, very good etc. while it’s running which is peace of mind. You name it on the app so it will alert you that “your device name” detects bad air or good air! It turns colors depending on air quality. Red is bad. Green is good. Blue very good. There’s 4 fan speeds. It runs quiet on normal fan speed 1 or 2 unless you have it up high (3 or 4). Sleep mode is super quiet. I like the auto feature which is great for power saving and only on when needed; if not on auto mode it will continuously run. Don’t have pets so haven’t used that setting. It seems to keep the dust level down tho and keeps the air fresher and keeps you breathing clearer and easier. It has a pre-filter you can clean yourself by rinsing off to kind of preserve the actual filter & having to buy another so fast! That’s a great idea! I remember my AC unit in a house I lived in had that kind of filter; I never had to buy any, just took it out back and hosed it down! Nevertheless it’s a nice size purifier and I keep it in a cleared corner of my bedroom out of the way. I would say it’s definitely worth the money. Would recommend getting one for sure! My wife assured me that the filters were cleanable. Wrong! You have to replace the filter after x amount of hours (suggested). Aside from that, the machine works great. I keep it on the lowest setting, which is reasonably quiet. Filtered air is one of those things where you don’t realize it…until you don’t have it. The pet dander is presumably decreased. This is my second air purifier from levoit, we have a smaller one in a bedroom and I'm tempted to upgrade it to one of these bigger ones. I really like how it has the indicator to show the air quality inside. It also to my surprise has greatly reduced the pet smell from our small dog, which wasn't the purpose for purchasing this but is a great bonus. The smaller one we have doesn't seem like it filters a lot of smells like cig smoke from the neighbors etc so I didn't expect a lot for odors. Like most air purifiers, you definitely hear it (it's not something that is a problem for us as I tend to have fans and things always on) so far I keep it at a 3, when it's turned down lower then it is very quiet just for anyone who has more noise sensitivity. When we move into a bigger space we will definitely buy another, or maybe bigger one. I have terrible allergies which is why I'm constantly in search of these and I definitely notice a difference between when they are on and off and when the filter is ready to be changed out. It's also nice that it connects to an app so I can control them all from my phone, see the filter status and even see the pollen and air quality in our area. The lighting is not disruptive at all on it and if you were to find it bothersome it's easily turned off. I've used some other tower style purifiers from other brands and they have all been replaced by levoit as the quality of results and convenience with the app have exceeded expectations and quality of any past brands we have used. ... show more

This is a very good air purifier that works very well. The dust screen is washable, and it's important to keep on top of spraying it off, under a stream of water. No need to dry it after, it'll evaporate soon enough from the air flow. Excellent product, and quiet too.

This product works amazingly without a doubt. Within the first two hours of setting this up I could no longer smell any pet waste and I no longer had allergies sitting by the pets !!! The noise level is SO low (at the lowest setting) that my boyfriend didn’t even notice that it was on until I told him. I love the sensor as well!! Since I don’t get allergies or smell any pet waste anymore, the sensor lets me know when it is time to clean by telling me the air quality is bad. As soon as I clean, the sensor goes right back to good air quality (: AMAZING I have three pets: a guinea pig, cat, and hedgehog and I am mildly allergic to the dander but it builds up quick. Before, I was vacuuming & dusting everyday to help manage my allergies. Now, I don’t have to worry about that because of this air purifier which has been a huge blessing!!!! ... show more
