This security set works pretty well so far. One thing I will say is that the cameras are NOT wireless. They require external power but they are PoE so you only need one cable instead of two which is great. It also means that it will shut off if there is a power outage so be aware of that. The DVR is a good size and it has a 2 TB purple drive inside for optimal security recording. The cameras are not too hard to setup. You do need to drill the cameras into the wall. All the screws and washes are included with this. After you have it installed, it is easy to setup and connect it to your phone. Also note that you will need to do some running of wires into the wall. This does not use cloud storage and it will record straight into the DVR. You can connect your DVR to your router/modem to give you 24/7 access to your cameras. It does come with four cameras and you can add more if you want (up to 8 cameras). I am okay with four cameras. It comes with the long cables and give you a good length. You can actually swap out for a bigger drive sizes if you wanted; however you will need to open up the unit to access the hard drive. You can adjust the video image quality in order to maximize the storage. You can also easily upgrade the hard drive but you do need to open the DVR in order to access it. It has several outputs such as VGA and HDMI. The HDMI is nice if you want a bit of sound or are hooking up to your TV. I use the VGA part so I can utilize my older monitors to see that cameras. It will output all channels onto one screen so you can easily view all the devices at once. You cannot connect any IPTV cameras to this DVR. The DVR will overwrite older footage once the hard drive is full. It does have motion detection in order to stop the device from recording when you do not sense any movement. This will save on memory. You can use USB devices with this as it comes with two usb ports. I just use a mouse with this device. I actually keep this close to my router so I am able to keep the cable short when connecting to the DVR. It will continue to record so long as there is power. The quality of the cameras are not bad. I love the picture/video quality on this. I am able to see a good clear view during the day as well as the night. It will automatically switch to nightvision when there is little lighting. The night vision cannot be seen through glass as the light would just reflect back onto the camera if you were to try to point it towards a window. The cameras are all weather proof so it can take rain and such. I tried a water test and very rarely the water will smear the camera but it does have a slight cover on top in order to prevent water from dripping down. The cameras are prone to yellowing from the sun if you keep this in the sun. It does not hinder your camera performance and is more aesthetics. I do wipe the camera ever few weeks just to make sure the lens is not smeared. Overall I think this is a good recommended security set for a home. It gives you enough camera to give you coverage. You can use it outdoors or indoors. With this camera system, you will require a ton of cable running through the wall but the rest of the setup is pretty straight forward. I would recommend having this plugged into an emergency power bank in case of power outage to keep the device running a little longer as the cameras will stop recording if you happen to have a power outage. The media could not be loaded. After a few weeks of using with the Arenti 4K security camera system, I can confidently say it's a game-changer for my home security. Let's delve into the details: Crystal Clear Footage: The 4K resolution is no joke. The cameras capture stunning detail, day or night. I can clearly see faces, license plates, and even individual blades of grass. This level of clarity makes identifying potential threats a breeze. AI Detection on Point: The AI human/vehicle detection is surprisingly accurate. Gone are the days of false alarms triggered by swaying trees or passing cats. Now, I only get notified for actual human or vehicle activity, giving me real peace of mind. 24/7 Recording with Ample Storage: The 2TB HDD on the DVR offers ample storage for 24/7 recording. I can easily rewind and review footage from days or even weeks ago, which is incredibly helpful if I need to check on something specific. Easy Setup and Use: Setting up the system was surprisingly straightforward. The PoE cameras made installation a breeze, and the phone app that comes with this system is intuitive and user-friendly. Even someone with minimal tech knowledge can navigate the features with ease, or even replace the hard drive if needed. Additional Perks: Two-way audio allows me to communicate with whoever is on camera, which is handy for deterring unwanted visitors or simply chatting with the delivery guy. The media could not be loaded. I needed another level of security for the outdoor CAMs. I found this one with very good specs and a great price, and I had to get one to try. I was not disappointed; this one has worked out great. First off, very easy to install and set up. I like how easily this one wires up and how the box and Android app are configured. I also like the precise documentation that walks through the setup step by step from beginning to end, and I was amazed at how fast I could set this one up. I also like the generous amount of ethernet cable that goes from the box to the CAMs and how easily those connect up. Secondly, it works great. I like how fast the screens move and the seamless video with full GUI when monitoring and recording the CAMs. I also like the picture from these cams where it works great in full color at night. Lastly, the Android app is great. I like how accurate the monitoring of the CAMs is through the Android app. I also like how the app can configure the terminal and certain aspects of the CAMs as well.
