The original machine had a bad motherboard. We worked with the company (not Amazon) to troubleshoot. Unfortunately, we had to be sent a replacement. The problem was we gave days and times we were open for a delivery but the shipping company failed to follow instructions and the replacement took a lot of time to receive. The quality of parts were terrible. I reached out to the manufacturer for new parts and it took months to receive. None of the parts they recommended worked and they wouldn’t offer a refund for the purchase. Instead I had to go part by part to identify the problem.     • Loose controls. Disappointed!
If you can, try one out before you buy it. I found a few on display at Best Buy. I really wanted one, and I loved NBA Jam back in the day, but the joystick was terrible. You have to push it half way to a direction before it clicks and registers. The buttons felt wrong too. I found it hard to play with such imprecise controls. Nothing like a real cabinet. I love the idea of these, but for that much money, I expected a lot more. ... show more
