I loved to use my deployment bag (yes, military grade heavy duty) for picnic/hiking with my dog. And since I wash the bag after every trip, it got worn out after few years, and needed a replacement. Usually, travel bags last few months since I wash them after every trip. So all I looked at when buying new backpack was price/freebies. And those bowls and food container looked good, no lies. But I didn't expect this bag to be this heavy duty! It's been almost half a year, and I washed it more than 80 times and it's still like new. The only problem is it can't withstand open fire, I burnt it while I was repacking near camp fire. Well, I'm here for the second one! ... show more

This is a nice bag, but it’s very tight in the main compartment. Granted, I have two food bags in there, one for my dog and another for my cats, but that’s about all I could fit in there. I do have some wipes & a small pet brush squeezed in the inside pockets, but I can’t fit anything else in there. Because the main compartment is tight, I can’t fit many toys in the front pouch. I wish it had more fabric that extended to fit more things in there. Those two dog toys make it difficult to zip it up already. The little zipper in the front, I have a mini flashlight & small nail clippers for my cats. There’s a zipper on the top, next to the main compartment zipper, and I have a couple small microfiber towels in there. There’s even a zipper on the back, but it is too tight to fit anything in there. Maybe IDs & paperwork. Hanging off the sides are 4 travel bowls, a travel water bottle, & a mini first aid kit. In the side pockets, I have a doggy poop bag on the side with the zipper that you can pull the bags out from, that’s a nice feature. On the other side, I have a small shampoo bottle. This would be a better bag if there was more fabric that stretched to fit more things because there are a lot of zippers & pockets, but I can’t fit anything else. We usually don’t take our chances with products that don’t have any reviews on Amazon (since it looks pretty sketchy), but I just HAD to get this after seeing how many pockets it claimed it had and OH BOY OH BOY was I in for a surprise when the bag arrived! As soon as I opened it, my 4-year old kitty Jasmine started sniffing it, and proceeded to climb into the bag and just plopped inside! Isn’t it the cutest thing you’ve ever seen?!?!?! Anyways, It has everything from front pocket, back pocket, side pockets, even a slot for my Kindle, a very spacious main compartment (where Jasmine made herself at home), a large food container, and 2 food silicone bowls. This cute little travel bag is unbelievable! I can see myself taking this bag not only for traveling with Jasmine, but also just to get Starbucks down the street and run some errands as well! Traveled during the pandemic, which meant that I needed to quarantine for two weeks when I arrived at my destination. This bag held more than enough food for my 10lb pup, held some sweaters/snowsuit, lots of toys, treats, brush/toothbrush/nail clippers, and more. It was super easy to organize everything with all of the pockets and the main pocket has inner sleeves to keep things neat. It held everything that my pup needed for two weeks and when we got back it was extremely easy to unpack, wash, and then store flat in a drawer. this bag is just the right size to carry my dogs food/treats/thin blanket/toy/water bottle/leash/poop bags/bowls (the foldable ones included with the bag) it definitely has made traveling a lot easier with all the little pockets im able to easily find what i need. i use to have a big over the shoulder bag that i use to throw all his stuff in and it was a headache to find anything. thankful for this backpack. ... show more
