This frame is perfect in every way. It's large enough for bigger insects like Luna Moths. It has a soft board that I was able to pin the moth to and the pin didn't hit the glass when I closed it all up to hang. I will definitely be buying more of these in the future. I have absolutely no complaints for this product. I use both of them for framing some butterflies I've collected. The frame is a beautiful wood and accurate to the pictures. It feels very sturdy and the glass did not scratch easily. The backing is slightly padded which is perfect if you use pins. Not to mention the fact they are VERY reasonably priced. The shadow box is well built and looks professional. I used it at work to display items that are at my work along with a decal that says "in an emergency break glass". I would have posted a picture but it might violate Amazon policy for materials being posted. The product is not yet legal in all states, but it is in California. Got to love those taxes. Looks really good and the versatility of it us amazing. Has enough room can make it hold just about anything, and the sturdiness of it won't fall apart on you. Makes it look professionally done, looks like I could have bought it from a store. Definitely recommended especially for the price.

I used this to set another picture with frame inside.....that is because the other picture was a gift to me and I did not want to replace the white frame. So, I purchased this black Shadow Box to showcase the picture. It almost fit perfectly. It came with an "inner" removable part which I removed one side to make my existing picture fit inside. It was nice that it had a single hanging mechanism on back....I cannot stand the dual triangle hanging mechanisms on most shadow boxes and frames. They are more difficult to measure and hang. I got this t-shirt and wanted to use it as an art piece. The brand that I originally found was more than twice the price for a “t shirt frame” and they have a “patent” on a foam insert that you need to use to wrap the shirt. This frame comes with a foam peace that protects the glass…I don’t think it was intended to be used the way I used it. The important thing is to not throw away that foam that is covering the glass. I wrapped the shirt around that foam, and placed it inside. I did not cut the shirt. The result was perfect. A nice snug fit and perfect size for the graphic to be displayed.
