I have ordered a bunch of these AquaJoe hoses because I live on a ranch with a huge yard and I wanted hoses that were lighter in weight but tough because they cross the driveway in places and will be driven over. These AquaJoe hoses are rated for high pressures and have a tough fabric outer layer so they seemed to be the right hose. You can indeed drive over them, so far we have no failures on that element but the negatives outweigh the positives. These are, by far, the easiest hoses on the market to kink. Everytime I move a sprinkler - multiple kinks that you have to manually unkink each one. I know, all hoses kink under the right conditions but these kink and shut off the waterflow if you just think the word kink, seriously. Also they have the worst connections - you have to rotate the entire hose to screw it onto another hose or a sprinkler - which leads to---more kinks. The nut that you twist to connect is also weirdly sharp, it is actually painful to make the connection. But so far these have been decent hoses other than their propensity to kink constantly and the difficult, leaky connections. I'm going back to Gilmour hoses= better performance and less hassle. ... show more

I do like and use this hose however, it is a pretty heavy hose. It’s true it doesn’t kink up or get pinched off easily, which is a bonus though. I do prefer the hoses that shrink up when there’s no water in them. As hoses go, I give this a four out of five.

I have had good luck with the canvas hoses mainly for there storeability. the other hose i use you can put 100ft in a 5 gal bucket for storage. I can lay 300-400ft pretty quickly. I was hoping this would be even lighter for camping, or other portable use. I have a submersible pump and generator very low pressure set up for watering flowers from a lake, or to fill a tote for grandpa to put his feet in. I’ve used this hose since mid-March this year and I’m not that impressed. It still gets kinked easily. And just this weekend it developed a hole and now the hole is so big I can’t use it anymore. Really disappointed because this hose was pretty nice to move around, but working the kinks out was always a bit frustrating. I did contact the manufacturer and they are replacing my hose with a new one so I hope to have better luck with that. The replacement was said to be here within 3-5 business days and already I have a notification of it's arrival within two days which is coming tomorrow so that was nice to see. ... show more

The hose is great, although it's difficult to attach to a faucet because it doesn't have a swivel connector. This means that the entire host must be twisted as it is threaded onto a faucet, potentially leading to kinks. The customer service is terrible, though. I've been trying to work with them for nearly two months now and they're not resolving my problems. It has soured me on the 'Joe' line of products. ... show more

I bought this hose to use with some larger impact sprinklers in my pastures. I like that it is collapsable and can handle some higher pressure and it seems like it is pretty well made compared to other collapsable hoses . The only downside is that even though it is listed as a 3/4 inch hose the hose ends are much less smaller than a 3/4 inch inside diameter of the hose which impedes the volume of water you can move. Probably a GREAT hose for regular use i.e yard sprinklers, washing a car, filling up a water trough etc but no good if you need to move a large volume of water to power large impact sprinklers. ... show more

Says it's 3/4" hose, bit doesn't say the connectors have reducers to about 3/8". The only reason for me to purchase this hose other then it being lighter then normal hoses. I also like the design of the hose style itself. But I wanted a 3/4 for the water flow capacity since I am running a good distance and all my connections prior to the hose are 3/4 or better. I didn't want any restrictions till the end of the line. So that is why it got a 3 star. If it had true 3/4 fittings it would ha e been 5. Or even 4 if it said the fittings were 3/8. ... show more
