Product arrived exactly as described. However, I did need to return it as it did not work for my tank. My tank is 20” wide which is the top-end of what the model could accommodate. However, it was obvious that 20” was longer than what this could realistically handle as the metal brackets don’t really hold the light upright correctly at the end of its span. Very bright, love the colors. I would buy the next size up if your dimensions are close to the max. The rails are not fully attached and can come out if extended too far. This can also cause the light to sag. Otherwise we love it.

I like this light. It works well, there are various degrees of brightness, it looks fine,there are several color options, and the light timer works. The only thing I wish is that the extenders were a bit more stout, they're very thin.

This is a nice aquatic light, except the little wire supports for it are a tad too short. I can use it anyway, but for a standard 10 gallon tank, an extra half inch on the wire bracket that holds it up over the aquarium would help. I have a metal mesh lid over the tank so I can just have the light rest on that without struggling with the bracket that came with it. I spent more time trying to get it to sit in place on its own bracket, and it was precarious. Without the lid I bought separately (to keep a cat out of the tank who was too interested in the fish) the light might have fallen in the water. ... show more

This light is barely fitting my 10 gallon but it does fit. It works great, love the features and my plants are doing amazing since I got it! Highly recommend!

This puts out great light, and the option to change colors is fun. However, after using a few days, the lights started flickering. There is no "contact seller" button only return. I no longer have the packaging and such to return.

I love the inline controls. Can choose different color lights, and 4 levels of brightness plus off. The timer options of 6, 9 & 12 seem sufficient. I do not know if the output is sufficient though. My plants are dying off, in less than a week, but I'm being patient, in case it's normal for a new tank with new plants. Still learning.
