  • Very basic light-duty treadmill, but better than I expected for the price
Color: black
I've only ever used the big treadmills at the gym before. This is not nearly on the same level as those, but then it's a small fraction of the price. I'm 6'1" and found I could still take natural strides but without as much margin for error as I'm used to. The 6.2 MPH top speed is also lower than I'm used to seeing, but sufficient for my needs. It doesn't quickly fold up for storage - you have to unscrew knobs for that. Also the upright part just isn't very sturdy and bounces around quite a bit while it's in use. There are some other quirks to it, like how when you press the stop button it immediately clears the display. If you're recording your time and distance you have to remember to make a note of that *before* you stop. Considering how inexpensive it is, this could be a good starter treadmill to see if it's really something you want at home. ... show more

  • Good Basic Treadmill with a Fundamental Design Flaw
Color: black
This is a pretty good, though pretty basic folding treadmill, with a few major asterisks and cautionary notes. The product arrives in what can only be described as a very modest carton, with very little padding inside… just four Styrofoam braces and four side pieces protecting its precious cargo. When I received it, the plastic straps on the outside of the box had already eaten through most of it, so they were useless for handling and manipulating the oversized box, which weighed almost sixty pounds. Once open, everything looked OK inside, even though some of the parts were rattling about. But there are only a few parts that need to be attached here, and everything arrived in good condition, despite the somewhat slipshod packing and less than sturdy box. There was a bit of wayward Styrofoam and human hair (!) that had to be corralled and disposed of, and the arm rests have a bit of dirt on them that I’ve been unable to remove. Other than all that… smooth sailing! The directions aren’t very good and were clearly translated from Chinese into English and include two or three pages of warnings. My favorite is this admonition: “don’t exercise with hard objects in your pants pocket.” The main thing you have to do to assemble this unit is screw in four knobs. But those knobs come in two sizes and are sized in such a way that they both fit in both locations… so which do we use where? So, assembly was confusing, but relatively easy. A couple of identical Allen wrenches are included in the package and I have no idea why. You won’t need them to put this together. Operation is intuitive, if you’ve ever used a treadmill before. The treadmill performs well and has an excellent LED display. I was concerned about noise and vibrations and the second time I used it I got a text from my neighbor asking what all the thumping was… this is something they specifically say in the product description not to worry about! Also, the thing squeaks, seemingly with every rotation. The cup holders are nice, although I’m not sure why there are two. They are also very shallow. The easel back for your tablet or phone is a nice touch, although you have to be pretty far back on the treadmill for optimal viewing. It would have been so lovely if the angle was adjustable. And the safety key is a cheap plastic device that looks like something you might have traded in your tickets for at Chuck E. Cheese. The biggest problem I have with this treadmill is that it is supposed to be “portable” and “foldable.” That’s true… to a degree. It ships folded up. And it unfolds easily. And it has built-in wheels that help you roll the treadmill from here to there. BUT you can’t fold it up at will and stow it away. You can only fold it up if you laboriously remove those four knobs! I live in a small apartment and space is at a premium. I was planning to store this under my couch or bed. I can still do that, but I’d have to disassemble the unit every time I wanted to put it away. That’s not what I signed up for… to assemble it and then take it apart once or twice a day! It’s a bit disingenuous to refer to this as a folding treadmill if it has to be disassembled to be folded up; in fact, what sold me on this treadmill is the video on the product page that shows the unit being folded flat from an upright position. That is a fantasy! So, to sum this up: this is a good basic treadmill, but it’s packaged sloppily and it has one fundamental design flaw that’s a show stopper. If you intend to set it up and leave it be and are not concerned about storage, then by all means, go for it. This is a pretty good entry level treadmill. But if space is important to you, and you’ll need to stow this away regularly, this might not be the one for you. ... show more

  • So defective it didn't even power on.
Color: black
Arrived brand-new, no blemishes or dents, delivered carefully. Opened carefully, placed carefully. Plugged in after assembly. Would not power on. No power switch, no indication that it was powered, checked plugs and circuit breakers, all worked. Re-checked assembly instructions and any instructions for power switch, "hidden" power switch, or transport switch (something that prevents circuitry from being damaged while in transport) or alternate means of troubleshooting. Nothing. Unless you absolutely want to spend two hundred and fifty bucks, save yourself time, money, and hassle: just lift a heavy object (about forty pounds) and swear for an hour. ... show more

  • Basic Treadmill
Color: black
The media could not be loaded. First and foremost, I’d highly suggest using extreme caution when using this treadmill, as my husband, who wears a size 13 shoe, attempted to use the treadmill and due to the belt not being very wide in width, the edge of his foot accidentally touched the side rail which sent him falling forward before he was luckily able to catch himself. Needless to say it could’ve been a lot worse, so he won’t be using this again. The treadmill is very basic in design, it does fold up well, however you need to remove 4 bolts in order to do so. The belt isn’t super loud when in use, but it’s not quite either, you can hear what it sounds like in my video if interested All in all, this is a decent treadmill for someone who doesn’t have large or wide feet and who doesn’t mind taking bolts in/out each time they’d like to fold the treadmill ... show more

Excellent folding treadmill for the price! Love that it’s light weight and folds for easy storage but still has all of the features and capabilities of a heavier machine!
