These mesh mats have worked perfect. They are ridged enough that I can hold in the middle with one hand, but still flexible. I have had no issues with anything sticking to it and they clean very easy. I do not use them at high temps ( usually 250 deg or less) so I can’t really comment on that, but so far they are holding up well. They were to wide to place two side by side on my grill so I easily cut one in half with meat scissors and it performs just as well as the others. Highly recommend! ... show more

What a great idea. I use them on my gas grill for fish, veggies, shrimp - almost anything that used to require a skewer. They don't hold up well for extreme steak-sear temps above 600, but hold up very well at 400. I will never be without.

They seem to resist heat just fine. Notice it says Heat resistant. Nowhere does it say FLAME resistant. If you want to use them on a gas grill or over a fire, these are not for you! I use them in a smoker so no direct heat. They are holding up great. I can see that if exposed to a direct flame they would probably not last. Made about 50# of jerky on them this fall. Cooking on these sheets is a game changer for burgers, vegetables, and anything else that would tend to either stick to the grate or fall through. This is especially true for those of us who have stainless steel grates instead of something less prone to sticking (e.g., porcelain-enamel). So, don't get me wrong: I do love cooking on these. My complaint - and really, it's the only one, but a big one - is how easily these start to fall apart. They develop holes fairly quickly, which I assume is a result of grease on the sheet catching fire and exceeding the maximum temperature that they are rated for. And therein lies another potential problem: When they develop holes, they are actually burning and disintegrating. Is that debris getting in my food? Am I eating it? Is it bad for me? I do not know the answers to these questions, but I am certainly concerned about it. My advice to anyone using these, then, is this: as soon as it develops a hole, stop cooking on that part of the sheet. Rotate it, flip it, do whatever you need to do to not cook on that particular spot. And when you can no longer avoid it, dispose of it. They currently cost $3 each ($15 per package of 5). If you get a half dozen meals out of it, you are still way ahead of the game. ... show more
