We have one of these on each of our beds. We have 7 dogs (multiple seniors with incontinence issues) and these have saved our beds from being soiled by vomit or urine accidents multiple times. They are easy to wash and hold up well.

I purchased this product to act as a massage blanket to keep my furniture/carpet safe from oils. The waterproof blankets that are usually used for this are very expensive, however, this product is used to keep furniture safe from animal wear and tear. This product is good for both, since I have cats so it is a better purchase overall as I would be hesitant to use a massage blanket as a sofa cover due to how much they cost. This product is large, soft, and waterproof. My wife is tactile sensitive, and it met with her approval, and she was more than willing to stretch out on it. The cats approved as well, but I had to shoo them off to keep them oil free. (Cats are worse than kids).     • 100% Waterproof But Not Perfect

I was so tired of purchasing blankets that were allegedly waterproof, and turned out not to be with the result being dog urine soaking through to my sofa. I decided to test this blanket by pouring 1/2 cup of warm water on the blanket. The water pooled on the blanket for a good long time. I had set a timer, and at the 30 minute mark there was still a small pool on top of the blanket, but most of it had absorbed. Since it pools, if it is not on a flat surface, it will run off in between your sofa cushions or onto the floor. You would need to catch it and soak it up right away if the surface wasn’t flat, It is definitely waterproof-the absorbed liquid never made it through the other side of the blanket. It washed and dried beautifully. i’m using it as the first layer on my sofa and covering it with another blanket I purchased, that is not waterproof (but was advertised as such. Double Protection! If it didn’t pool, I would give it five stars. It is a very soft, cuddly, blanket. The quality is excellent. I would purchase it again. ... show more

We found out through trial and error that Gizmo prefers newspaper pellet litter- in fact, that is the only litter he will use! When we could not find the litter at the store, we tried other litters and he refused to use the litter box- this waterproof blanket was a lifesaver! It kept all of the urine off of our bedding and mattress. It washes easily and does not retain odor. If you have pets, this blanket is a must have! Just got this blanket and it is surprisingly soft. I spend so much time doing laundry, constantly washing my bedding. When an accident happens it results in an all day laundry event. I’m so happy I found this blanket. Now I just wipe the blanket clean and throw it into the wash, instead of washing multiple layers. This thing is awesome. I do wish it were a little bigger.
