Had a similar one and it cracked when making a Mexican salsa. This one is sturdy and new and came with a small smoothie jug. I love my personal blender that provides an opportunity to expermint making healthy drinks and is easy to use. I love the sports lid and the the Blend & Go bottle. The blender is stable with anti slip feet and if it overheats during use it will automatically shut off. It has an interlock feature and two speed pulse function. This personal blender for shakes and smoothies worked very well for a few months. It was easy to use, clean, and it really did the job on ice. After a few months, though, the lower speed setting just quit. I still use it on the higher setting, so that's satisfactory, but sometimes I'd prefer to have the option of a lower speed. ... show more
