These battery-operated candles are the most realistic-looking ones for a reasonable price. We did not use the remote or the timer, so I can’t really comment on those features. We just turned them on with the switch on the bottom. The flicker of the faux flame looks really good compared to most other battery-operated candles. Note that these are not wax-based, but they really are beautiful, with a nice clear acrylic holder that looks like glass.
