I have been searching for the right cover for my new pergola. This shade is so pretty and it matches the color of the outdoor shades that I bought. I had to order it 3 times because the size is tricky. If you have a 10 x 12 pergola, let me save you some time and energy. So, the 10 x 10 AND the 10 x 12 is too big, it'll hang on either end and you wont be able to secure it properly. The optimal size needed for a 10 x 12 pergola would require a 9 x 10 (which they don't sale). So just get the 8 x 10 which is a bit too small BUT looks better and can be secured. Now I'm having to reorder the 8 x 10 because it is the only option. The material is nice and has grommets to help secure it. Hopefully it won't fade, but at this affordable price, you could just buy another one! Get this brand you won't be disappointed! ... show more

We live on the top of a mountain and when the wind picked up, the shade cloth was waving in the wind just a few days after hanging it. I replaced the zip ties with some we already had. Should be fine now

6'x6' size with grommets, was perfect. Seems well constructed for our purpose. We made what I call an awning side-sunshade/Privacy screen for our camper, see photo. It was nice that it came with zip ties we used some in the construction. The bungee cords we'll use when we roll it up to store.

This product is well made and easy to install but, as you can see in the photos, it does not create privacy. You can see right through it from both sides, so I don't believe that it blocks "90% of light" as stated in the description. Light passes right through. I would say it blocks 20% maybe.
