  • Who Knew? Solving my PF problem
Size: Small
I'm a runner and years ago I had some plantar fasciitis issues which took months to resolve, but the issues did resolve eventually. Back then, I had heard of wearing a night splint, but never used one. Lo and behold, 5 months ago, I developed another case of PF and it has been very frustrating because the pain has lingered and is holding me back from doing what I love...running. So, I've become a walker and some mornings my heel would hurt more than other mornings, but the pain was lingering for sure and I haven't been able to run. I decided to give the night splint a try because I had tried everything else. As you know, one of the top symptoms of PF is heel pain first thing in the morning. As we sleep, the foot is extended and the Plantar Fascia shortens and when we step on the floor in the morning the Plantar Fascia is stretched and pulls causing the damage and pain all over again. Well, the very first night after wearing the splint, I carefully put my foot on the floor and there was absolutely no pain at all in the morning. I was very surprised and very happy, to say the least. The splint keeps the foot in a flexed position during the night allowing the fascia to heal in a flexed position. So, now after wearing the splint for a week, I can honestly say that I'm seeing results. My heel no longer hurts in the morning and I even ran a little bit two days ago without pain. I'm very happy with the splint itself. I don't find it uncomfortable at all. I can get up during the night to use the bathroom and I can carefully walk with the splint on. Not a problem. I wear a size 6.5 shoe size and I bought the small size and it fits nicely. A night splint! Who knew?! It's working for me. ... show more

  • Best thing I've bought for plantar fascitis
Size: Small
I've tried a bunch of different products, but this is the only one that has made a marked change in progress with my PF. It was initially painful to use, because I didn't work up to it like I was supposed to, but the quick release snaps allow me to take the piece on and off quickly. It being super light weight allows me to toss and turn at night unimpeded. I wouldn't have progressed as fast as I have without this piece. ... show more

  • Sturdy but size issue
Size: Medium
I am a size 7.5 (women’s) which is right on their border between S and M. For small it says no more than 7.5 and the M starts at 7.5 so I ordered the M and it turns out to be way too big on me. I didn’t want to return it because my foot was in it for 2 nights and I wouldn’t want to buy someone else’s two night used foot brace! So now I’m stuck with it. ... show more

  • helped cure my plantar fasciitis
Size: Medium
I suffered from plantar fasciitis for about a year. At first I tried stretching. Then I bought expensive new walking shoes. But it wasn't until I started sleeping in this boot that I finally began to get some relief. I first learned about this product from a physical therapist on YouTube. I was skeptical but was willing to try almost anything. Like most people, I worried I wouldn't be able to sleep in it. Also, what about getting up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom? How would that work? Well, to some degree those worries were not unfounded. I found it easy to fall asleep with the boot on, but if I woke up in the middle of the night, I often had to take it off before going back to sleep. It's not that it's uncomfortable. It would just bother me that it was there. And you do have to take it off to go to the bathroom (or anywhere), and putting it back on in the middle of the night is not that fun. So a lot of the time I would only wear it half the night. The good news is every little bit helps. Wearing it somewhat erratically, probably 4-5 hours a night on average, cured my plantar fasciitis in a few months. Also, if you find it affects your sleep too much, you can still get a lot of benefit wearing it when sitting around watching tv or if you have a desk job. I would sometimes put it on while working at my computer and probably would have healed faster if I had remembered to do this more often. ... show more

  • Stays in place
Size: Medium
I have used several night splints over the years. This one is comfortable and stays where it needs to be. I really recommend this one.

  • Sizing is tricky
Size: Large
I wear a size 10.5 shoe so I was on the border to medium to large for this splint. I chose large because of my foot size but I should have chosen a medium because I have skinny calves. The straps are as short as they go and I still have to add foam and towels to take up the space. So base your decision about size on your calf size and not your foot size. ... show more

  • Okay, but could be much better
Size: Large
This splint mostly gets the job done. It provides a decent stretch to the plantar facia and achiles. The main issues preventing a higher rating are quality of materials and the inability to select Left or Right foot. The biggest issue is that when ordering they do no allow you select Left/Right. Not having the option, I assumed it would work for either foot. The splint I received was clearly marked Left. I need a Right. It still works, but the fit is a bit wonky and not as comfortable as it could be. Adding the L/R option when ordering seems like a very simple thing to do. The material quality is not terrible, but its not particularly good, either. The buckles are low quality and can't handle much tightening. That being said, it gets the job done. ... show more

  • It works but you have to get use to it
Size: Medium
I’m a whirling dervish in the bed so this was super hard to get used to. But if you can manage to wear it at least 6 hours it makes a world of difference.
