Fire. One of the 4 essential elements of life. It is constructive and destructive and can be terrorizing or soothing. For me having the soft glow of a flame entrances me and settles my soul. This ALPACA Electric Fireplace allows me to control the flame to my desire. From color to speed it is all controlled in one touch. It can be controlled directly from the unit itself or by the included remote control. It doesn't look like a real fireplace or a burning campfire rather it looks more neon and colorful but that's not to say it isn't beautiful because it is. It's a large 50 inch display that is versatile by being able to either hang it on a wall or use it as a table top model using the provided hardware. The heating is quite good and will raise the temperature in a moderate sized room in a matter of minutes if turned on the high mode as it uses a quartz heater to provide the heat and can be adjusted from 59 F to 95 F. I find it best if I use it on the low setting at night to maintain a comfortable temperature in my bedroom. The unit comes with attractive accoutrements that enhance the appearance of the fireplace. By removing the mount screws on the glass and carefully removing it you can add the logs and the crystals which give it a more attractive appearance. The heater allows you to cycle through both fire flame colors and the bed colors. It cycles between 13 colors every 3 seconds or you can choose one that is your favorite. There is a timer that runs anywhere from 1-12 hours. This fireplace is functionable, soothing to look at and easy to operate. The media could not be loaded. This electric heater has lots of light colors to choose from and looks pretty realistic. The thermostat sucks and does not work. You have to turn the heat up way higher than you want to get it to even come on.

It’s very nice, extremely heavy, I don’t like the slight hum noise even with heater off. The options of colors and flame, timer, etc is nice. Rocks only one type comes, the broken fake sticks aren’t as nice but in summary it’s nice.
