I bought the refurbished one for about half of the original price and so far it works really good. Battery doesn't last very long but it still lasts long enough to clean my 15' x 5' round above ground pool. I'm very pleased with it so far.

I will preface this by saying we have an intex above ground pool. The bottom isn't perfectly smooth, but this is the only cleaner I have had get stuck. This cleaner does an awesome job cleaning the bottom of the pool. The battery holds long enough for it to get a good once over of our 18' pool. The only thing I would like to see are maybe some bigger wheels to help it go over more "uneven" surfaces. In my case, if it gets stuck on something. That is where it stays until the battery dies or I can give it a bump to get it moving again. ... show more

Works great for getting sand and dirt off bottom of pool. The only thing I wish it didn't do was drop some stuff when you remove it from the pool. Other then that I love it.

We received this on a Saturday and returned by Tuesday. The device came with no manual or use instructions. Worked for about 20 minutes and shut off. We thought it wasn’t fully charged so we looked up a manual online to be sure we did everything correctly. Tried again this morning and it gave us an error light meaning the motor is flooded. After reading in the faq section those lights mean something wasn’t waterproofed correctly and we will need a replacement. If it’s in the budget, go for something more reliable than this. ... show more

LIKES: Loved the fact it picked up more than I thought it would. I’d have to say there was at least 1/2lb of sand. Our pool handy been vacuumed in 6-8mo because I had back surgery. No More Hoses! Almost 100% charged fresh out of the box. Battery ran a full 90min. Moves quickly! Easy to clean. DISLIKES: NO MANUAL in the box. Does not climb walls but I knew that ahead of time. Got stuck 3x on sloped curve at bottom of walls and I had to move it. I WOULD buy again! Glad I found it on sale! ... show more

Charge it before the first use. Push and hold the power until it lights solid. Drop it in the water. Walk away. Runs about an hour and 20 minutes. When its low on power it will slop at the side of the pool. Pull it up and out quickly to avoid it spilling if the door is blocked. Open and clean. Clean and dry charge port before recharging. It's a decent unit. Better than my old one that had to hook to the outlet port and monster hose it had to drag around. I use it almost daily. Recommended ... show more

I did EVERYTHING I could to get this to work right. It just goes to either the middle and stops or to the wall and stops. I let it charge for 24 hrs then again for safe measure ..I am so disappointed. Update: I was sent a newer refurbished model. So far it’s done well. The run time is not great. Honestly don’t think I’m getting the full amount. But it’s working and it helps. ... show more
