I was impressed by the fact that it removes the pollen from the floor of the pool, it's easy to clean . Put it in the water , turn it on and walk away for about 90 minutes. takes less than 5 minutes to clean . Beats the pool vacuum hands down .

I ordered this robot based on other's reviews. It seems it's just not as advertised. 1. Owner's manual mentioned a "hydro comm" (a buoy), which allows an app on your phone to monitor the robot, get water quality updates, etc., etc. No mention of it on the Aiper website (no search capabilities either). Internet search yielded no results. Emailed customer service to inquire about it, they want my product order number. I explained I ordered through Amazon and just want the buoy. Seven emails later (a bot?) and still haven't received a straight answer. 2. Called C/S, she explained they no longer have or support the "hydro comm" but may in the future. This took 20 seconds. Huh. 3. Charged the unit up and put in the pool to do floor only sweeps. Placed in the shallow end. This joker vacuumed about 200 sq ft with enthusiasm, but kept coming to the wall and turning around, never hitting the remaining 80% of the pool floor. Fished him out and set him on his way along the long axis of the pool, and it seemed to wander around a bit better. 4. There is a LED band on the front along the width of the unit. Fully charged it shows blue, down to a certain percentage shows yellow (I never observed this directly) and goes red when near or at depletion. Charged it up for the second time and only about 2" of the band lit up blue. I put it in the water and cut it loose. Not sure how much I got out of it, but in the end, I'm just sending it back. The media could not be loaded. I was amazed at how big the product was when I opened the box. It is a bit heavy to lift, but it also seems like the way it was made is decent quality. It has a huge debris compartment with an extra debris filter. When I first used the product I couldn't believe how much algae and debris was actually trapped in the debris basket. Usually algae is so thin it gets disbursed back into the pool but this vacuum did a great job at catching most of it. And it was so easy to spray out and clean to use again. I'm also impressed with it taking about 4 hours to completely charge and has 3 hours running time in the pool. When I first read it prior to purchase, I thought there is no way it can be ran 3 hours then 4 hours to fully charge, but it does!! I love how it suctions to the walls and scrubs the walls and waterline. It does have sensors to sense things that may be in the way so it doesn't damage your pool. However, when this product was performing the wall function it did not sense my water input and tried running it over. Luckily, it did no damage but maybe it was just a minor error. After it had that issue, it then did not fully come up the wall as it should have the rest of the cleaning period. I'm not sure if it was a delayed response but I'll keep using it to figure it out. All in all I'm very happy with the performance of this vacuum and I'll continue to give updates as I use this product this summer. Tried other robotic cleaners and had to return them because they just didn’t cut it. This one performs better than my previous corded vac (dolphin). It simply is superior to anything i’ve ever tried. You can really tell Aiper’s team spent a ton of time on this product. From opening to getting it into the water the experience was easy, undaunting and seamless. The battery life is awesome, the robot removed all the dead green algae at the bottom of my pool and collected it in it’s filter. I have an inground pool and it has bottom drain covers that all cleaners would get caught on. Surprisingly this Aiper (or who we named Aquaman) wiggled his way off. Im in love with the front light easily showing me the status. I can clearly tell if he needs a charge or if he’s good to go another round. The app is a great addition! I would highly recommend the Scuba Pro, it’s clear to me that Aiper leads the pack in Pool cleaners now. I just wish i would have got the stair cleaner vacuum as well! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This machine is impressive. My first impression is its size, bigger than the old Aiper I owned. It is very powerful. From the video, you can see it climbed up the wall easily. More importantly, it was steady and fully controlled when climbing down, not just falling freely like other machines. It can keep sucking to the wall and cleaning all the time. Another good feature is that it would never get stuck, e.g., by obstacles in the last figure. It can catch leaves and sticks. The Aiper app is an add-on. You can check the machine's status and do some settings through your smartphone. I've owned this machine for over one month. It can last 3 hours as advertised. I'm very satisfied with its performance and hope it can last long. Lastly, I do have two suggestions: more controls available from the app and more optimized/advanced/smart "WavePath" for irregular-shaped pools. ... show more

The cleaner starts off ok but half way through it looses its path and will start cleaning the same area over and over again. I Tried floor only and side wall cleaning options with the same outcome. The suction is good, this is the only reason for a 1 star. I'm very disappointed for a machine that cost $1000.00 I would not recommend this product. ... show more
