I have long hair that use to take me a hour at least to dry this cuts it in half! After a couple days of use I can tell I'm going to love this Blow dryer. This is an attractive, lightweight, and effective hair dryer at a good price point. I have the "original" and much more expensive version of this dryer and I think this is a great alternative. It takes about the same amount of time to dry my hair and is approximately equivalent in terms of noise. I don't love the button placement as I sometimes inadvertently hit the buttons and change settings, but this is avoidable if I am more mindful about how I hold the dryer.
