Got this to heat family room that gets cold quickly. Then the furnace went out during a cold snap and we were able to use this with the fireplace to heat the whole house for several days until a repair person could get parts a fix the furnace. I really like it.

I've used this thing under my desk for a while now and I'm not disappointed with the results. It does pretty much exactly what I want - which is basically keeping my feet warm at a basement office. I wanted a space heater with a timer so I could avoid potentially leaving it on, which this has, but my only complaint is that I wish it was on by default and had to be turned off rather than turned on/set. With the oscillation, it actually serves to warm the entire 400 sq ft room after a while. I wouldn't get it for that purpose specifically as there are more efficient options, but if you want to blow immediately warm air at yourself, this does it. ... show more
